I am obsessed with this salt. The smell alone is incredible but the taste is lovely and adds extra flavour to whatever you’re making. I nearly bought other versions Maldon make before realising they are rock salts, I like that this is their signature pyramid granules so it’s easy to use and doesn’t need a grinder. The tube is huge so it lasts for ages, even for me and I eat a disgusting amount of salt a day, it’s a miracle I’m still alive. It’s good value for money, even though it’s on the more expensive side. I recommend and will absolutely repurchase.

Great salt to have alongside the regular Maldon salt. It has a really nice Smokey taste ideal for adding something extra when seasoning. The tub size was just right for the kitchen cupboard as some sizes are quite large. Way better value than buying it in the supermarket in the small packs. I just decant a bit at a time into a salt pig so it’s always to hand.

This Garlic Salt makes savoury dishes super tasty!

I love smoked salt on salad (I have to eat a lot of salt in order to stop my blood pressure from being too low). It is particularly good on tomatoes. I uses to get from supermarkets, but they seem to have stopped stocking it. I was pleased to find it here, but thought twice because of the cost. However, I am very pleased by the size of the tub, and I realise that it is good value. I shall buy it again.

Wish I'd bought this sooner. Lovely flavour, not overpowering either. Using this on pretty much everything instead of regular salt flakes that I was previously using.

Sel que je ne connaissais pas, très agréable à utiliser, gros grains, un plaisir à déposer sur vos plats et à déguster. Jai aussi commande la version classique en sel blanc. Cette version fumée est très particulière, sel brun, très odorant et parfumé. Je recommande pour le plaisir de la découverte et de la dégustation.

Dieses Salz ist einzgartig... Eigentlich kann ich es schwer beschreiben, ohne ins romantisch verklärte abzudriften. Beim öffnen der Packung hatte ich den ersten Gedanken, nachdem sich dieser starke Duft nach Rauch entfaltet hatte: Ich sitze am Lagerfeuer, irgendwo in der Prärie... ein fehlender Baustein in einem guten Essen? ..irgendwie schon. Dieses Salz hat so ein besonderes Aroma, das es einzigartig macht. Ich habe es verschenkt an einen Liebhaber von Grillfleisch, und ich hatte das Vergnügen das es auch sogleich geöffnet wurde, und ich dieses wunderbare Rauch Aroma genießen durfte. Das Salz hat die Farbe nach hellem Bernstein, die Kristalle sind fein und eignen sich gut als Fingersalz. Es riecht überhaupt kein bisschen künstlich oder als wäre ein Aroma zugesetzt worden. Der Geschmack ist trotz des intensiven Aromas fein und nicht aufdringlich. Die Kristalle schmelzen auf der Zunge und lassen eine feine warme Schärfe zurück. Es duftet einfach nur ursprünglich, erdig, urig, naturverbunden und kraftvoll. Ein klares und perfektes Raucharoma....Die Beschenkten hatten Ihre große Freude und ich hatte meine Freude, dass ich ein so tolles Produkt gefunden hatte. Ich war mehr als positiv überrascht von dem Duft. Erstaunlich wie man ein Salz auf ein derart anderes Level heben kann. Wie ich Wochen später erfahren durfte, hat das Salz nicht nur Grillfleisch verfeinert, sondern auch Käse und Gemüse geadelt, zur großen Freude der Familie. Diese kleinen pyramidenförmigen Salzflocken sind einfach der Kracher – mit einem Westernstyle Aroma von echtem Rauch. Howdie!!! Einfach nur ein Salz.....? Hmmm, Nein!! Ich habe es dann nochmal verschenkt und es kam genauso gut an, der gleiche überraschte Ausdruck ..wie kann das sein, das ein Salz so duftet...Wow!!!!! Fazit: Wer ein besonderes Geschenk sucht für Menschen die das Besondere suchen, die Spaß an guten Essen & Aromatik haben, die das Neue lieben, dann sind sie hier absolut richtig.
