Precision I4 Thermal Paintball Goggle

Overall, this is a great mask. The pros: It is the lightest mask I've used. It is the most comfortable mask I've used. It fits close- very low profile making your head a smaller target. Great field of view. Can change lenses very quickly. It takes me about 15 seconds to change. Does not fog (but I expect this from any high-end thermal mask). The bottom (chin area) of the mask fits close enough that it doesn't bump my 68/4500 when shouldering my marker. The Cons: Had to cash in my 401k to buy it (joke). Yes, it is expensive. It makes my voice sound loud to me. It amplifies the sound of my breathing. So far this hasn't been a problem while playing but it took a while to get use to. Note- a lot of people seem to complain that it is too small for their heads and that their chin and neck are exposed. This may be true for some. I'm 6' tall, 170 lbs and have a "normal" sized mellon. The chin of the mask follows the the contour of my jawline when my mouth is closed. I actually like this because the mask doesn't bump my tank when I shoulder my marker. Also, if I have my marker drawn to my shoulder, my tank, hands, and arms protect my neck pretty well so I'm not that concerned. If you are "in the game" and keep your body ready, you are much more likely to be hit on the head, mask, hands, shoulders, tank, loader, or marker. Put your mask on and shoulder your marker while looking in a mirror. You'll see that very little of your neck is actually exposed.

I bought this mask to replace my Scott mask to play at a massive woodsball game. First off let me give you some of my personal input. Pros. I love how light this mask is. I always would feel quite tired after playing a game while wearing all my other masks and this did absolutely the opposite as far as heavy. This mask, despite me running in game for two hours sweating like a horse and panting like a tired dog, never once fogged on me. You can imagine how much I fell in love with this mask after that. I still can't get over how cool this mask look and how scary it is to play against. There is good ventilation on the mouth guard and around the goggles them selves. The lens is really easy to replace(It took me some time to figure it out because I am always slow at figuring it out at first)and there is info in the Manuel they give you. The mask comes with a micro-fiber storage bag which is very nice. I almost cried one time when I though I lost it(lol). It is perfect for speedball gameplay. The mask itself is built very sturdy flexible compared to all cheaper and most nicer end masks. Cons. I will admit that it is a tad pricey for a mask, being $20 more than the other masks which are already $110. This mask is made a little tight for people with larger heads like I do and it is practically another layer of skin with how close it is to your face(I totally don't mind how tight it is even though I have a bigger head, but most people like me don't care for how thin it is). This mask, as you can see, has almost no forehead and side chin cover(I don't mind that because I bought a Dye head wrap to cover my forehead and I don't worry about my chin to much). A lot of people I know won't buy it because of that. It isn't to great for woodsball. The lens is actually quite easy to scrap on a twig or a branch. I accidentally ran through a bunch of branches and totally scraped my lens. I didn't want to pay to get a new one, but I couldn't stand it. I was nasty with it though. I just have to keep it in mind each time I play. It doesn't scratch on paintballs though(lol). Over all. Everything that I mentioned that was not to great(That is all I noticed from it that might stop people from buying it) was really not that big a deal for me. I was stupid with the lens(and I do think a micro-fiber clothe is the only thing you are going to want to use) and I am a perfectionist so I had to get a new one. But other than that, I love this mask. I would say, if you are going to get it and you don't already have a head wrap that Dye sells, you should pick one of those out too and you are set. If you like good face coverage, don't get this. There are way better masks to grab for that. If you play speedball and want that extra 2> inches of extra mass gone, take this. I made a perfect buy for me, and I am not the best person for this mask ether. I hope I helped you make a good choice. Good Luck!

Such a good mask even though it’s somewhat out dated and there are newer versions it’s still the best on the market for the price. Doesn’t dog, has a great fit, easy to see through and has some nice tint. Overall 10/10

This is a great mask. It is a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for. It's easy to clean. You can pop out the lenses and swap them out for any of the colored lenses or tinted lenses. Or if yours gets scratched up and you just want a new one. I tried a bunch of other masks and they don't fit my face well. Proflexes didn't do it for me. This was the only mask that was comfortable on my face and I've played multiple scenario games so far where I've had this on my face for hours at a time and I've had no issue and it's never bothered me. I've bought two replacement lenses so far as well which are usually around $50 so keep that in mind. There's a ton of masks on the market and I haven't tried them all but I can tell you that this one is great.

In all fairness I've only worn it one day so far so this is based purely on a short trial period. Pro's: Visibility was great. I played outside with sun and cloud cover and the tint was perfect the entire time. It's a very comfortable mask as well. I never felt fatigue or discomfort. It's very light which helps I'm sure. Communication was noticeably easier that the previous mask I used. I took several shots to the mask and never tasted nor felt paint make it inside the mask. The included bag doubles as a cleaning rag. Didn't fog in the high temp and humidity present in Georgia. Con's: It is expensive. Not sure that it's a good value pick. Questionable coverage of jaw line. Very little coverage of the forehead as well. Part of the trade off for it being light though. In the bright sun I would get shadows from the vent along the forehead that were present on the display. honestly didn't notice them though once the paint started flying. Summary: I would buy again based on the single use. It was that much better than a JT mask I used. Once games started I hardly knew it was there.

I use this mask for CQB in airsoft and I have to say it has performed flawlessly. I have a 58cm head with a normal shaped face and it fits just fine, however it doesn't cover all of my lower jaw and the very very bottom of my chin, but it's a small price to pay for such low profile eye and face protection. I sweat quite heavily when playing and the mask didn't fog at all. It did, however, get condensation from my heat right at the very sides of the lens, certainly not enough to cause any visual obstruction, especially with the superb field of view this mask affords. The condensation was just lines of water running down the lens. There was a ton of condensation in the mouthguard when I removed the mask, but that is to be expected when breathing heavily. The earpieces are extremely comfortable and did a fair amount to protect my hearing from bangs, without obscuring ambient noise excessively. You can wear this mask with an Ops Core type helmet too, but it takes a little getting used to as the mask causes the helmet to sit slightly higher on your forehead. I found that I could use my optics with this mask (a Visionking 1.25-4X short dot type on a Knights Armament style mount) but I noticed that I had to cock my head over further to really get behind the sights. I run a crane stock but I think this would be the same on any stock, just because you can't get a cheek weld with the mask. The lens is extremely easy to remove and clean. All in all I think this is a fantatsic mask and whilst it may be a little pricier than other masks you can't put a price on your eyesight and teeth.

Love the goggles/mask- they fit like a dream- comfy- with great visibility. Being shot in the face is now just loud, without the usual customary BB PAIN from those 6mm pieces of hate flying across the field. The visors had few direct hits- after numerous games with no damage. Ears are covered - which is great . Now the buggers have started shooting my forehead instead- ever get the feeling someone doesn’t like you? Love it- but it- basically you can’t do better! Great quality, great look and accessories and great value for money!
