I got this for a gift for my friend who loves crystals. She thought it was the cutest thing ever!

Giving 3 stars because the crystals were falling off shortly after forming. Also, The instructions said warm water but in what I considered warm water, the solution wasn’t dissolving. I’d say water should be close to boiling but not quite.Also, first box we received was missing the “solution” so if you have an antsy toddler, might want to make sure everything is there before starting the project. First box was sealed but the bottom is flexible and if you bend it, the bottom opens and I am guessing the solution fell out at some point between the shipping box and actual product assembly. Amazon quickly sent us a new one so that was great.Anyhow. Once we received the replacement, the thing started to grow in a couple hours. I understand climate matters and in summer with our air conditioning on, I think the crystals turned light blue due to the air flow nearby. Was still fun but prob wouldn’t recommend it highly because it was a side project and didn’t really occupy my toddler for long.

We used this as a sermon illustration when studying Psalm 1. I takes about an hour for the crystals to become visible. Then it fills out just like advertised. I really looks like a Sequoia tree! I love that I can find stuff like this on Amazon, which I previously did not know existed. Great product. Thank you to whoever developed this product!

Bought for my six year old son's Easter basket. Experiment worked great, directions were easy to follow and my kids enjoyed watching the crystals form.

Good fast 24 hour growth for the young curious and short attention spandexes scientist in your life. Is a bit messy once grown and dried and does not last long intact if moved about.

This is really cool. It develops very quickly and the results are beautiful. It is very fragile, though! If you breathe on it, the crystals drop. Don’t expect to keep it for more than a couple of days.
