The directions aren’t that great They don’t tell you what hardware goes where. And they tell you to to use the hardware that was removed but the screws are too small. The button top screws they supply are too small for the holes in the flares

Ease to install….great way to Protect and Reinforce

Very easy to install. The hard part was removing my tail lights and old flares. Couldn’t be saved. Install took two hours, working alone. I aligned up the flare holes using two awls and then c clamped into place. Very easy.

Had to cut the passenger side in order to fit in between the hinges for the tailgate. Overall product is great and gives the old YJ a nice clean look!!

Heavy steel is nice upgrade to my rusted jeep. Was not a direct fit. Needed lots of modifications to even line up to the body around the rear door hinge. More than 1/16 was cut off to make it fit. the tail light holes still did not ling up and had to be drilled out larger. All of these modifications I was willing to do because the part came damaged in the box and there was no response from the seller. If your like me, and drive a busted / rusty but trusty yj, then these will work for you. But be ready to make modifications to make them fit.

Works great for my 1991 yj. Bought it originally because i crunched the back panel on a rock, but now im glad I bought it because it looks good, very sturdy, and is thicker metal than I expected!
