Question 1

Does it come with instructions / ideas on what to do with the board?

Accepted Answer

Sorry for the late reply on this , we have an instructional video on our youtube channel to get started. But beyond that we encourage people to be creative as there are many different ways to use the board!

Question 2

How is this compared to a regular circular balance board? Will it be more challenging?

Accepted Answer

Yes the half spherical shape makes it more of a challenge to balance on. It takes some practice to get used to it, but you will notice progression in your abilities if you put your time in! The result is an effective improvement of your balance and agility!

Question 3

How does this compare to traditional boards with the roller underneath (like Indo)? Can you do tricks on it?

Accepted Answer

It's definitely a different feel than a roller board. The 3-dimensional motion makes it more challenging to maintain your balance and is more similar to real-life board sports. It is also safer being low to the ground and one solid piece. (it won't go shooting out from underneath you if you are not paying attention.) It will improve the subtle board controls in your feet that will make you a better rider on all other boards. Rollers are only 2 dimensional rolling back and forth. I created this board because I got bored with my roller board and wanted something better. I designed the WB to be more fun, with more options, and more effective! Practicing spinning is a major difference in particular, but you can do lots of tricks on a Whirly Board. You can spin independantly on all three balance points and transfer from one to the other adding in your own style, you can walk it around the room or spin your way around, you can also do skate style tricks like shuv-its, manuals, or even kick flips. It will make you quick and light on your feet by improving your balance, agility, and ability to maintain your center of balance and spatial awareness. Have fun in your living room building skills to take to the snow, water, skate park, trail or anywhere you like to shred!

Question 4

How high is the board when it's level on the floor?

Accepted Answer
