Ready In a Snap
I’ve been spending lots of my weekends outdoors at various parks in my city. This pop-up canopy has proved to be the one item I do not leave home without. It's compact enough to toss in my trunk while still leaving room for my other gear.Unlike other canopies that have screws and couplings which need to be fastened for assembly, this one has the fittings built into the frame. it can be set up in under a 3 minutes. If you look under the canopy, the legs are built like grasshopper legs and fully extend as the canopy pulled in separate directions. The spokes that make up the inner frame of the canopy top lock into place with no need for additional hardware. The legs polls snap tight as they are pulled up and can be secured to ground with the thin nylon rope segments and metal anchors included in the pack.If you want a hassle free yet functional canopy, this is the one that will never let you down.

One nice feature of the freeland pop-up canopy is that the legs aren't straight up and down. They open up wider at the base which helps out a lot with the stability of it, especially if there is any type of breeze. Because the canopy also extends down each leg of the frame and clips into it, the canopy is kept taunt and helps with puddles forming if it starts to rain while using it. Canopy is perfect for using over a picnic table whileAssembly was not that difficult for myself, but I am a little bigger of a guy so some people may need a second person to erect the canopy. I opened up the frame and put the canopy on while it was still as low to the ground as possible. Each leg has a slide with a pin to lock it into place for the upper corners. Unlike many there is a button that is easy to push when you want to disassemble for these upper corner slides. For myself the canopy was not that heavy to carry and place where I needed it. There is a nylon rope and smaller metal stakes that work well to keep the canopy where you want it. If it is a really windy day, most stakes will have a hard time keeping the canopy on the ground, this is just how it is with any canopy, they are a giant sail, If you want, a bigger plastic or metal stake used for tents might help during the more windy conditions, or you could secure the footings to something heavy. The fabric is dark enough to keep the sunlight out and keep our area nice and shaded, which helps with the temperatures. Disassembly was just as easy and I had no problem putting the canopy back into the carrying bag that was supplied with it. Fits nicely in our suv with all of our other camping gear.

Easy to use canopy, love it!
I love my new canopy! I had one previously but it was so difficult to set up i eventually stopped using it. Once I realized it was just collecting dust in the garage, I decided it was time to find an easy to set up replacement - which I did. I even set it up for the neighbor kids to place 'house' in for a couple hours which is something I would have never done with my old canopy, it would have been too much of a chore. It's not technically made for bad/extreme weather but I must say I was very impressed with how well it held up. I left it out over night in the rain and wind (unintentionally) and it stayed in place and there was no water leaking through the fabric. This is the least expensive canopy I have purchased yet it's of better quality (or equal quality in some cases) which is an added bonus-i love to save money whenever I can. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase!

I usually use ez-ups but needed something that would be a permanent canopy to keep on my deck so my toddler had shade to play in. This one did the trick. I bought it for the size and the it fit perfectly, it was easy to put together and since it's pitched in the middle, the rain doesn't pool like it does with the ez-up. Definitely worth the purchase!

High Quality, Quick Set-Up, Great Price!!!
I recently purchased the “FreeLand Pop-Up Canopy Tent” and I have to say I am SO happy about this product!! It literally took less than 3 minutes to set up and the slanted legs offered extra stability, making it almost possible for one person to set it up alone. The canopy has heavy duty material that looked sleek and stylish. It was large enough to walk underneath comfortably while offering sun protection for my whole family. Take down was even quicker then set up. I highly recommend this product to anyone who want instant weather protection at the drop of a hat. My family will be taking this on all of our trips!!

Great!
Sturdy and easy to set up. Used in in some serious wind and gallon jugs of water kept it down. If you are careful when setting up and taking down, not to rush it and bend the aluminum, it will last a long time.

Nice at first, but broke on 2nd use
It seemed to be very nice at first. I used it once at the beach on a mild day. It did great, and I was so happy to have bought it. Then I took it to the beach again, on another mild day, and before I could get all the stakes in, a puff of wind picked it up and it fell. I picked it up immediately, and saw that one of the aluminum supports had split open in 2 places. $85 is a lot of money to use once at the beach before it tore up with such a soft fall....Other people at the beach at the same time were sitting under canopies and umbrellas with no problem. Very disappointed.

Disappointing
Purchased the Freeland Pop-Up Canopy early this month to be used as for general shade when we go to the lake or go camping. After the second use, two cross bars snapped. We had the canopy set up, staked in, and a big gush of wind blew the canopy over. After inspecting we found that two truss bars snapped right in half. Tried to find replacement parts but they do not exist for Freeland, also the size of the bars are inconsistent with standard canopy replacement parts. Very disappointed to say the least. The upsetting part is I looked at other models and decided on this one after reading reviews. I understand that wind is the arch enemy of canopies, but we were amazed at how quickly this ended up in the garbage.
