Simple general purpose Venturi pump
General purpose way to use your existing air compressor to provide reduced pressure, even with some flow of air coming from the evacuated side. To call this a vacuum pump overstates it. The base pressure is maybe 1/4 atm in a closed vessel, but it is useful for many purposes, and robust and simple. I’m a fan.

Very efficient and customizable!
You can get vacuum from merely breathing in this thing! I have it running on a regulator and pressure relief valve set to 10psi. I added a ball valve to the muffler and it allows me to convert my pressurized oil drain tank into a fluid extraction unit. Upen the muffler valve and it provides vacuum, and close the exhaust valve and the tank pressurized to dump out the used oil.
