I had mine installed so cord does not show at all. It looks sharp. I have the large crystals in right now (think of ice cube size). I also have the log that can be added. With the flame 🔥 it looks real. This was the most realistic I found. Has different colors. Lots of compliments.

I hired a licensed contractor who installed a dedicated electric outlet so the fireplace would not overload the system whenOther electric appliances are used. I designed the copper & found the large piece of driftwood at a nearby beach, the stones areFrom Stratastones Pebble & Tile (great company btw). The fireplace performs well, really like the remote control & different colors of flames. My only suggestion would be it could be a bit more warmer.

The flames look like a 12 years old's paper cut-out of a fire. That is the best way I could describe it. There is no angle where this looks even semi-realistic. I read reviews saying this one was "very realistic", but wow. Especially for the price, I am disappointed. Would not recommend. Will not purchase again. Additionally, the "log set" as seen in the photo, arrived weeks after the fireplace in a tiny box that is unmarked. Due to that disconnect - it is extremely easy to lose track of the little separate box and they were lost. The logs should have been included with the fireplace.

My wife wanted a fireplace in the bedroom, but it wasn't practical. Saw this in a store, bought it here for 40% less here. Attractive hardware, very realistic flames, and easy to install: just hung it on the wall with the included hardware!

money well spent :-) this electric fireplace is simply.....AMAZING!!!!!!!!
