UPDATED WITH NEW PRODUCT Great battery, really no better alternative, at least for the AirMini
UPDATED:This has worked great for occasional use for going on 5 years now. The battery is still good, I keep it charged occasionally, but as things have evolved, and I now carry multiple batteries, including some USB-C batteries for my phone and laptop, I began to wonder if there is a better option now that would prevent having to carry multiple batteries. Sure enough, someone came out with a USB-C PD adapterthat appears twice on here on Amazon under the "Flgan" brand (https://www.amazon.com/Supply-AirSense-Airmini-Charger-Coverter/dp/B0BV1J88GV/ref=sr_1_3?crid=22F2OX03Z3G6V&keywords=USB-C+Airmini&qid=1694244363&sprefix=usb-c+airmini%2Caps%2C192&sr=8-3 and https://www.amazon.com/Coverter-AirSense-AutoSet-R390-7230-Airmini/dp/B0BHW9M77W/ref=sr_1_4?crid=22F2OX03Z3G6V&keywords=USB-C+Airmini&qid=1694244363&sprefix=usb-c+airmini%2Caps%2C192&sr=8-4). Despite the few negative reviews, I was able to successfully use multiple USB-C PD 20V batteries (with the exception of the Anker 737) and multiple AC adapters to power the AirMini. This means if I use that adapter, I can avoid having to take both this expensive battery as well as the AirMini's AC adapter. Now, is there still a use case for this battery? Well, if you like the assurance of something that was tested and is backed by a more reputable brand that has been around longer, this Medistrom battery is your better bet. If you absolutely can't be without your CPAP in case that cheapo USB-C adapter fails, yeah, maybe you want this more expensive additional solution. I have only mild sleep apnea so it doesn't bother me as much if that stops working while on short travel periods. I could also take the AirMini adapter as a backup, as it is light and small anyways. I also will be testing the USB-C adapter with the new AirSense 11 and will post that over there when I get to that.Another use case for this battery would be to power other DC power devices. It has a 24V output and if you have something that cannot tolerate that and needs 12V, you can get an adapter step down converter for that.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Overall, this is a great battery for the CPAP. I have both the AirMini and the AirSense 10. I initially used the AirSense 10 charger to charge the battery and then planned on using this on the airplane and on an overnight train with the AirMini. I thought it was great that this could charge from the AirMini charger which is more compact than the AIrSense 10, though I understood that the charging rate was significantly slower on the AirMini. It appears to be ~7 hours on the AirMini charger. I thought this was fine since even if I had to use it in a hotel that did not have easy AC power access near the bed stand, it could charge all day and be ready at night. I will admit I never got to use it on the airplane, but did have the opportunity to use it on the overnight train that had no AC power access. It worked perfectly. Now for the part that I am disappointed about. I understood that the charging rate on the AirMini charger was slower, but I did not realize that it was so slow that it does not simultaneously charge the battery and power the AirMini as a "standby" UPS-style mode. This is possible with the AirSense 10, but not with the AirMini. I found that out the hard way as I had AC access at the hotel and for two nights I had it plugged into the battery and the battery into the wall. Almost through the second night, I awoke to the machine having stopped. Well, that answered my question about how many nights this would run! (A little over two nights as I had used it for a nap when we landed as well). I'm disappointed with that as I thought it would be great to have a UPS option for the AirMini while traveling in case of a power outage. At home, I have the AirSense 10 plugged into a standard UPS unit as it does not make sense to use this somewhat expensive device at home and waste charge/recharge cycles. Standard UPS devices are much more economical. I considered buying a random laptop battery from Amazon and the $50 or so AirMini cable kit that this company sells to make my own device like this for much cheaper, but logistically this made much more sense for many reasons. Further, it is specifically intended for medical devices and there is some comfort in knowing they either test them under those scenarios or at least have really good liability insurance ;)Either way, I think for my purposes, this is the best option out there for a portable CPAP battery, and I have spent quite a ridiculous amount of time researching the available devices and options (at least as of this writing). Hopefully, prices come down in the future as I think this is something anyone who travels with a CPAP should have. The battery, cables, CPAP nasal pillows (AirFit P10), the tube, an extra HumidX cartridge, and the charger and AirMini itself all fits nicely into a general $5 zipper "lunchbox" that is more compact and practical than the AirMini branded sack it comes with and/or the extra travel bag they sell. A nice "CPAP medical device" tag attached to it and I have had no issues while travleing and going through airport TSA security and even internationally. I will note that just in case I had to remove it, I wrapped the device, the tube, and the mask in clear ziplock bags. As another tip, rather than spend ridiculous money on rebranded wipes "intended" for CPAP devices, I use PDI hand sanitizer wipes also available here on Amazon Nice Pak D43600 PDI Sani-Hands Instant Hand Sanitizing Wipes (Pack of 100) . They come in handy for many things and I find that one is moist enough to get me through wiping donw everything and finishing with the case when I'm done. Then, when I am back home, I don't have to worry about cleaning anything other than the regular maintenance cleaning I have to do anyway.I am slightly concerned about some of the reviews that mention defects and not charging/working after minimal use. While I have not experienced that, I will keep an eye out on that in case there are issues down the road. I would hope the seller and/or manufacturer will work with the customers to replace devices found to be defective.

Received obviously used not new as listed
This item was listed as new and was clearly open and used before being sent to me. The security seal tape on the product box was cut, there are scratches on the ports and it has obviously been used and returned. With the life of the battery listed at 500 charges, I have no way of knowing how many cycles it has already been through.UPDATE- I have changed my rating to a 4 star. This seller was very responsive and took care of the issue right away. Within 2 days of reaching out I had a replacement in my hands. It was as it should have been. I have not used it yet so I can not rate the product itself yet but I feel confident it will work as described. Agin great customer service and quick to resolve. I would buy from them again.

This kicked in when power went out
Extremely easy to hook up to CPAP machine following pictured diagrams in manual. The battery was fully charged when I connected it to CPAP. Luckily the electric company alerted my area regarding an power outage on a specific date and time span. I immediately called the CPAP company who couldn’t guarantee delivery of the back-up battery in time. Service rep stayed connected while I searched the correct battery on Amazon. I received the proper back-up battery for my CPAP machine 1 day prior to the power outage. I slept soundly and woke to the CPAP functioning appropriately and no power in the neighborhood

Essential for air travel
Provides a full 8 hours of use (with humidifier and hose warming turned off), more than enough for many flights. Came in handy on a flight that supposedl had power at the seats, but when plugged in, the breaker would blow as the power was in adequate. This can also be used at home everyday as a backup to prevent any disruption due to power loss. Nice and compact, so easy to travel with.

Does what its supposed to
Bought to use with a Resmed air mini for a month long camping trip. Powered my cpap all night 8 to 10 hours no problem. Needed to recharge it daily. Used the 12volt car adapter to recharge it but there are other ways to recharge it also. I'd plug it in when i got up and it was ready that night no problem. Worked great for me.

No issues on multiple international flights
Works great and I didn't even think about it's backup capability. I bought it for travel and camping, though I use a longer lasting battery for glamping. However you can leave it in the mix at home and benefit from it during a blackout. Something I don't think my other battery would like. Just hook it up to house power and it will stay charged and become available seamlessly if house loses power. That's a big deal in thunderstorm prone Florida.

Not compatible with ResMed Mini as advertised
The cables necessary to use the ResMed Mini which they said was compatible didn’t come in the package. I reached out to the seller and the answer was we don’t have them and no alternatives were offered. Now I am not able to use. The time to send back for a refund was over because I thought I had everything needed. Big disappointment and bought two which means $$$ I have not been able to find the cables. Not happy almost $700 invested and no use.

Perfect for camping or hunting trips
Had it home plugged in, never experienced power outage, so can't review that part.Went on a 7 days hunting trip, my CPAP is a resmed airsense 10. Came with the right cord to plug in. I used a non heated slim tube and had bought the side panel to cancel the humidifier.Turned off pressure relief like the other reviewers said. Slept an average of 5 hours a night, and used only 50% of battery every night. We would run generator in the morning, and within 60 to 90 mins the battery was back to 100%.So for me, this worked perfectly, I have a pressure of 11cm of H20 max set on my cpap. The only drawback is that for some reason, when charging through a generator, there was no charging indication like when plugged at home. To check status, I had to unplug it and press the button to see the 4 indication lights. At home, the light will blink when charging.

Excellent power supply
I bought this battery to power my portable CPAP machine. I have a cottage that is totally off grid and the battery supplies me the power to operate my CPAP for a full night and still have power left over. It comes with multiple cables to attach to different machines. I have a resmed C10 and a resmed air mini. It works on both. The power supplies cable for the C10 will charge the battery in approx. 5 hrs where the air mini takes about 9hrs. I purchased a spare supply cable for the C10 and also a car charger cable. The car charger cable will charge the battery in about 2 hrs while driving. The battery can also be connected to your CPAP in series with the power cable and act as a UPS in case of a power failure while sleeping.I am very happy with this system and recommend it. The specs lits the machine brands it will work with so check them before ordering.
