Great Fans To Help Move Heat From Confined Spaces
Noctua are a known and very good brand of fans. I don't use Noctua as my case fans as the aesthetic does not fit my build. However, the back of my PC gets very warm. I am running a 5080 and a 13th Gen Intel along with a 1000W PSU. This generates quite a bit of heat. Whilst the case fans (Lian Li TL LCD and non-LCD) do a great job of getting the heat from the main case, heat accumulates in the back where my cabling is. I have put two of these very small fans in the rear of my case to help exhaust some of the heat and reduce the temperature inside the cabling compartment. They are PWM so I am running these from their own header and set the fan speed to around 80% minimum which is around 5000rpm (in the BIOS with System temp as the monitor). If the system temp gets over 45 deg, the fans will ramp to full speed which is around 5500rpm. These do not move massive amounts of air like case fans do, but they seem enough to deal with light scenarios. They function as they should. Fast and very, very quiet. In fact, so quiet, I cannot hear them at all (but they are in the rear so quite well sound insulated). Pretty good value for money. At £14 per fan, they are not the cheapest, but you are paying for quality (they come with a 6 year warranty which is nice). Plenty of cabling options in the box also. You might need an extension cable if you have a large case and, therefore, quite a long run. Overall, they are small, spin and move air in the direction you want! For reference, mine are in the rear compartment of a Lian Li Evo XL case running 3x140mm Lian Li TL fans, 5x120mm Lian Li TL fans, 3x120mm Lian Li TL LCD with 3x120mm Thermalright fans behind the radiator (as push-pull), MSI Z790 Edge ti max wifi MB, Corsair DDR5 (OC'd), Intel 13700k (Oc'd) on a EK open loop, Gigabyte RTX 5080 Aero (OC'd), Corsair HX1000i PSU - i.e. quite a bit of heat being generated!

Quiet and Great quality
Quiet and cheap. Worked well for a PI NAS, would use again. Noctua quality is always well put together.

The best case fan I've EVER bought!
It feels a bit strange writing a review about a small case fan, but I'm so impressed by this one that I had to share my thoughts. I've built plenty of PCs, and used many different kinds of case fans, but this particular build is a fanless PC that I upgraded to use a second SSD hard drive. I noticed that the temperature was increasing a bit to over 50C - still in the SSD safe zone, but higher than I wanted so decided to add a case fan, accepting that it would probably be quite noisy. Not so! This fan comes with all the connectors you could need. I used the Low-Noise Adapter with the extension, and the anti-vibration mounts, and the result is almost silent operation. The fan speed varies properly according to the SYS_FAN output on the motherboard, and the temperature of the SSD drive no longer exceeds 36C. I have to say a word about presentation, as the packaging is incredible (considering it's a case fan)! The box has to be the most luxurious packaging for a case fan that I've ever seen. The box has flaps on the front and back so you can see the fan and the anti-vibration mounts, and with information about the fan. Opening the box reveals well presented accessories and the fan itself. I feel that the effort spent on packaging (while probably reflected in the price of the fan) reflects really well on the manufacturer. Overall, while this is not the cheapest case fan around, for me it represents the best value, and the near silent operation was a real surprise. I highly recommend this fan.

Keeps my HBA nice and cool!
Bought a HBA for my home NAS. And the temperatures are very cool with this fan added by tens of degrees! The fan is whisper quiet and super well made as is expected from Noctua. 😁

Nearly Perfect 40mm PWM Fans
I Bought these to go into my MSI Gungnir 300P to replace the single 80mm NVME cooling fan as my RX7900XTX Hellhound when fitted in the vertically mounted and in outer slot position is still to long for the 80mm to fit behind but 40mm is perfect for that width between back of GPU and mobo and so mounted two of these instead. Noise wise they are excellent and do decrease NVMe drive temps. The only thing negative is price as they are expensive for their size but better than the competitors fans which I tried before and they didn't last long before becoming noisy and cable issue with one of them so these seem much better quality on that front as well albeit at a more premium price

Good performance for their size
Great little fans. Using 2 of these as exhaust fans on my ITX PC (NR200P Max case) Can just about fit them both above my GPU allowing me to run top and bottom fans as intake which has improved temps quite a bit. They are PWM and not audible until around 60% (I do sit about 6 feet away from my PC). Even at full speed they are not too loud and would not be heard over my other, larger case fans. They come with rubber anti-vibration screw mounts but these are way too long for the fans. They are ideal for regular 25mm fans but I wish shorter ones would have been included with these. I have not tried the included low noise adapter which limits/reduces the RPM, can't see the point when the fans are PWM anyway but may be useful for some people. You also get a 2 to one fan adapter which is useful as well as a regular PWM extension cable and some screws. A fan grill would have been nice. Their grills are expensive so bought a couple cheap no-name grills which do the job. I do wish they made more of their fans in black. I know the brown/beige colours are part of their brand but that colour scheme just isn't for me and wouldn't have bought them if I was buying for a glass sided PC.

Beautiful piece of engineering. And the packaging... Wow. Speechless. They've included everything you might need. The airflow is weak though, but what would you expect from the fan of this size. Oh yeah! And it's super quiet.

My PC's CPU temperature was low (35 – 52 degrees). However, the Z690 chipset was hovering around 80 – 90 degrees. Way too hot for my comfort. Made a simple mod by zip tying a 4cm Noctua fan to blow directly at the chipset heatsink. The temperature drops to between 61 and 69 degrees. ASUS made a mistake of removing the heatsink fan for aesthetic reason.

Its Noctua need I say more. It will replace my Tronxy CoreXY printers system fan, have also replaced the hotend cooling fan with noctua as well.
