Easy start. Works great.

We have two solo stove setup outside of our vacation home and I bought this the first year we rented our home. These are great, they are long lasting and definitely can get a fire going. The following year, i ran out and didn't have the chance to get this through amazon. Just drove to Walmart and bought their similar version (looks very similar in a smaller box). Boy, that thing was a joke. It had a weird waxy film to it that you can feel when you hold it, but the bigger problem was it wouldn't last very long and the wood wouldn't catch the fire. I threw that box away and ordered two more of these. These are the best for us.

I absolutely love these! Inexpensive and easy to use. We use them to start our wood stove fires in our house. No smell and way better than storing a bunch of newspaper!

My go to fire starters whenever I am camping. They are cheap, easy to use, and last a long time. Highly recommend to keep them in your camping gear. Can start a fire even in wet, rainy weather

Good product. Works good. Burns long. Didn’t know how to rate flavor. It does not change the flavor of the food you cook at all. My one complaint would be that you have to be careful where you use it because it does leave a little puddle of oily, waxy substance after it burns out.

Have been using these for a few years now. Put one under my charcoal chimney that I use for my grill. Strike a match to it and it lights up quickly, burns long enough to easily get the charcoal cooking. Store them outside in their original box, in a plastic cabinet and they will continue to light and burn without any problems. You won't have any issues storing them for an extended period of time before using them. And I have yet had the wind come along and blow one out once it was lit.

This is the best fire starter for all types of charcoal and wood. Works great and works every time. Easy to light. Dependable.
