Rubies DC Super Villains Child Riddler Costume

This costume is just what we were looking for, and looked great on our son! To echo some of what others have said, be sure to have another mask that fits your child as the one included is basically unusable. There are no pants, so again, be prepared with coordinating pants/slacks. Finally, the costume runs small so you're likely to need a size larger. My son is five, lean and tall; he typically wears size 5/6 and even size small t-shirts are still a bit too big for him. Yet, in this costume, size medium was almost too tight.

After eating the reviews I went against my better judgment and ordered one for my son. I have ordered from this company 2 years in a row and have been pretty satisfied with the costumes, except this particular one. It's poorly made and runs 2 sizes too small. My son is 9 and is of average weight and height for his age. The costume barely slid down his shoulders! the length and the waist were fine but it's s though he looked like the hulk ready to burst out at the seems. Upon trying to hold his hands above his head to remove the costume it snagged and the material it is made from runs like a woman's panty hose!!! I am extremely unsatisfied and will not be ordering from this particular company again.

I bought this costume for my son for our local mother-son superhero dance. We opted to go as classic Batman villains instead of heroes this year. The costume comes with the top (which is a one-piece unit designed to look like the jacket, tie, and a black dress shirt), mask, and hat. It does not include pants, but finding black pants was easy and my son will be able to wear his pants to school so that wasn’t a problem. The Riddler cane he is holding was a purchase from a trip we took to a theme park. The top looked very good for being one piece. It really looked like 3 layers and it fit him perfectly. I was able to iron it without damaging it and the creases from being packed away vanished quickly. The hat could be a little bigger, but he loved it and it stayed on his head just fine even through dancing. As others have stated, the eye holes in the mask were too small for my big guy. The mask is perfect and sturdy so it was worth taking the extra time with an Exacto Knife to cut them a little bigger. Classic Riddler costumes are hard to come by, and this one was definitely worth it.

Runs true to size fits perfectly, however the eye mask runs small does not fit my sons head.

SUPER THIN. Ripped while putting it on. Seemed to run small. Works for Halloween but wish I had shopped around bc this was kind of a waste of money. My son looked great bc it was dark and you couldn't see the tear in the back

Costume was pretty good but really cheap material, hat was too small ,you need to have a pair of good dressing pants to pull this through

BUYER BEWARE!!! I only gave this item a star because it forces you to do so! This item literally just arrived at my door step 15 minutes ago and already looks like this! Upon taking it out of the package I noticed a small tear on the back seam, near one of the velcro "tabs". I didn't give much thought at first, just kind of made a mental note to stitch it up at some point between now and Halloween. I had my 6 year old come in to try it on; all I did was gather the shirt up to start putting it on over his head and this happened. Shredded beyond repair. Just glad I ordered early so I have some time to figure something else out for my very upset son!!!!

My son is 51 in and 62 lbs (8 years old) so I got a medium but the material is so delicate that it ripped getting it on and off so I recommend sizing up. It is a great looking costume though.

Arrived quickly. The jacket and hat were fine, however the mask was too small and I had to go out and buy another one.

Great costume effect but buttons fell off first day worn

-One Piece only Top part of the costume (Velcro at back) -Fabric torn/shredded at the centre front after one try on (fits the child well) -eye mask incredibly small and un-usable
