Predators Collection (National Geographic Kids Readers, Levels 1 & 2): Readers That Grow With You Paperback – August 6, 2013

My students absolutely loved this!!! This is a 4 in 1. Which means there are 4 different non-fictions books in one binding.It was a big hit in my classroom. There are tons of pictures on each page, which kept the kids entertained for a long time. They would love showing each other the interesting pictures. I would highly recommend this book for others to purchase. Please note that I did NOT receive this book at a discounted rate. I paid full price for this new product. This is my honest review of this product. Please let me know how I am doing my voting "yes."

My son has really been into learning about animals. I bought this to get he to see high quality pictures and the content was good. He doesn’t read it, but I read to him. It is probably 6/7 year olds. It’s a good price versus buying it from a book store.

Great product

This is a great book— well 4 in 1! My sons read it over and over, I even learned a few things! As a teacher, it is engaging, thoughtfully laid out, and encourages children to review what they have read at the end of each story. There are jokes, rhyming sections, and lots of detailed pictures to keep children engaged. Highly recommend! My 2 and 3 year old like me reading it to them. A first or second grader could read and comprehend individually.

I generally am purchasing fiction books for my seven year old granddaughter who finds reading somewhat of a struggle hoping to get her more engaged in reading. This time I decided on a non-fiction book thinking she might enjoy reading it to her 5 year old brother who is more into sharks, tigers, wolves and spiders. What a hit! The information was very well layed out in and among the typically gorgeous National Geographic pictures. Just enough information on each subject. One of the best parts was the understanding the author had of what a 7 or 8 year old might want to know. It explained specific words and offered questions for discussion. The highlight for this age group are the riddles that relate to the animals. She showed each of us the book and we all had to guess the riddles. When I have completed this review, I plan to check what other books are in the series and order them all!

My 5 year old is really into these right now! Perfect way to learn and short reads! Good educational material!

Kids enjoy

Couldn't believe all the positive reviews but after receiving this book and reading the first chapter on spiders with my 6 yr old it was an awesome read. Best reading material I have come across, it captured his mind.
