Fresh Dolls The Lynette (201-F)

I liked that she did not look like the standard black doll. I wanted different versions of black faces for these dolls. She was perfect.

Lynette is a Gorgeous dark skinned doll and once you take off her hair elastic band you will find surprisingly full long curly hair.I have bought all of the Fresh dollsI love the body shape and articulation which works well in my Stop Motion videosI have purchased each doll more than twice for Repaints Reroot and body swappingIt is so great to find a doll line dedicated to the AA body and featuresPlease note that the Fresh Dolls can also wear Barbie curvy doll clothes.

At first I was like hmmmm...then she grew on me... I love her! Her body is definitely curvy very realistic.When I put her hair down it doesn’t fully cover all of her scalp. They definitely could’ve plugged in more hair. She has a beautiful dark skin tone & face.

i have the entire set of these dolls. the wrists and ankles don't move, but they still move more than most barbies for the price. i'm not a kid, but they stand up well for instagram pics. lynette is hands down my fav of the line, she's the one i most play with.

So glad I bought this doll! I collect sixth scale figures and fashion dolls, and it is soooooo difficult to find a female doll or figure with dark skin AND with good poseability. The only other one I have is Michonne from The Walking Dead (hanging out with Fresh Dolls Lynette and Mia in the photo), and while Michonne is a bit more poseable in different ways, she was a lot more expensive. Lynette's hair didn't come styled with a pouf of curls in the front; it's more of an updo, but I like it -- it reminds me of Uhura's updo in original Star Trek. I like her outfit more every time I look at it: the light blue shoes match the light blue flowers in her shirt, and the gold earrings compliment the yellow flowers in the same. Her skirt is of a different material and has an almost irridescent pink sheen, depending on the light. An excellent doll -- I kind of wish I bought two, like another reviewer did!

Loved the fact that I was able to use the articulated body for a different face. Her skin is a nice dark tone without being a character. Her body is hard plastic not vinyl like more expensive barbie types but she is articulated at elbows and knees. She works great for my travel photos.Her body is fuller than Mattel Barbie dolls. She did fit Fashionista 105 dress and some barbie items but I would do stretch materials or find her size clothing if you plan to do wardrobe changes. She feels solid and is a great doll for a child and a child at heart
