It has plenty of space for just about any package except furniture and large items like computer monitors. Living in a townhome in the city, this has been an invaluable item that frankly should be mandatory for houses and condos like mine. Setting up delivery codes is as easy as a couple of taps on the phone. Initially setting up the WiFi/bluetooth was a bit of a hassle, but once I got it going everything else was easy. The battery holds a charge pretty well, but my power bank got stolen so I bought the solar charger. Now I don’t have to ever worry about charging the keypad, and it so far has held up very well in every kind of weather (hot, cold, rain, or snow). The mouth/lid of the box is large enough such that you can easily put packages inside of it. My only gripe is that the locking mechanism doesn’t feel that robust. If you let the lid drop from the fully open position, it typically locks on its own. Otherwise you have to push down on the lid. Haven’t had any issues with it as far as couriers leaving it unlocked, but you can’t really hear the locking mechanism engage so you have to pull on the lid to make sure it’s fully shut. Speaking of couriers, the box doesn’t come with a mechanism to get certain delivery drivers’ attention (looking at you USPS, UPS, FedEx), who somehow can’t see a giant box with a giant decal saying to put parcels in there, but it is what it is. Otherwise, I highly recommend this for anyone that lives on a street facing row home or townhome. It’s saved me a lot in headaches and money dealing with porch pirates. Review: It’s a metal box with poorly thought out features - Kudos to the team for coming up with a great idea. Unfortunately, extremely bad execution. The metal box is just that, a metal box. It is a decent gage, but just not thought out well. It’s supposed to sit outside in the elements, but the seams and joints are not 100% sealed. The top doesn’t have a good soft close and the lock requires a sturdy smack to make sure it is latched. The bottom of the box has four plastic buttons in the corners, presumably to prevent scratching and help with leveling, I guess, but they about 2mm thick and generally worthless. There is no option to level the corners via screw legs, so if your ground isn’t level, you’ll need shims of some sort. The locking mechanism and accompanying app are wet garbage. To start, the lock needs a charge. That’s actually a great idea because it doesn’t need a plug, but the bad idea is that in order to charge the lock, the box needs to be open. So, it’s out of commission for a few hours while it’s charging. No option to have it charging while it’s closed and in use. That screams design flaw. Next, the buttons and input light up, but good luck figuring out the differences between green and yellow lights. Oh and sometimes blue blinks for some reason when you are trying to enter numbers. When using the Bluetooth connect, you need to push the button on the box for the Bluetooth to connect to your phone. Every time. As best as I can tell, this is the only way to check the battery life. Additionally, the battery on my lock says it’s needs a recharge, even after a hours of charging. Solid. And of course, there is a subscription. Yeah, yeah, that old thing. It’s a joke. Almost as blatant a cash grab than a monthly heated seat subscription. But, it’s there. But what exactly is the subscription here? Tell me, because I honestly don’t know. I think it’s for the ability to create one time use entry codes and to see the battery life. If that’s the case, what is the point of this thing? It’s no different than a box, with a lock. So here’s my favorite part - no carrier actually cares to take the time to use the box. Have had it for a month and there has been … drum roll … zero attempts to use it. That’s not the manufacturer’s fault, but just something to think about. I’ve also purchased signs and stuck them all over my entryway, but the carriers don’t care. I live in a large city, maybe it’s different in the suburbs. Long story short, it’s a box with a smart lock. The box is poorly constructed and the smart lock didn’t graduate. But, at least there’s a monthly subscription to keep you warm at night. I would not buy this again. I’m also canceling my subscription after the free trial runs out.

Not the same as older models
I have had one for 7 years and the hinges finally broke. The location for attaching the charging is still difficult to plug in. The real disappointment for me is that the newer models are 3 inches narrower. Same height, same depth. Sucks when you already have bolts in concrete for it.

Customer Service is Great Product no so good but they keep at till it right!
The first box the eclectic lock failed out of the box, they were responsive and replaced it with a new box, I had an account set up problem and they contacted me.. This type of customer service is great. However the second set of electronics failed during set up no lights or response from the key pad. They worked with me one on one after hours to get this working a better vendor you cannot find. Any company that stands behind their product like this is worth dealing with.

Outstanding Product
I live in rural Illinois with a long, gravel driveway and a security gate. I cannot see my mailbox from the house, and often have boxes left at the end of the driveway. I had a plastic box for a while, but it filled itself full of bugs. This box is perfect for me! It notifies me when somebody is in the box so I can tell when my packages are there. I have left gifts for my neighbors and contractors in the box with a one time access code. I did not have any trouble with FedEx, UPS, Amazon, or USPS, after giving them the access code. I always find my packages inside the box. To set up – I laid a small cement slab, a little larger than the XL box. I bolted it to the slab. Then sprayed by insect killer around the edges, and I’ve not had any problems with bugs. I couldn’t be any more happier with the product!

Quality and works
Best purchase we have made as a manager of property's with multiple tenants who receive packages and such who can't be there to collect. The software and the box are both fantastic idea. Only problem we have is charging battery on box. Should be solar or kinetic if possible. Or should have larger battery to charge internally. Support team is fantastic quality is there. Don't care for subscriptions or paying for services monthly or period. End of day solved out problems that got every one happy. I'll get over my issues. Wanted to follow up with update and experience with product. Recently someone made a effort to break in or pry the lid open and they not only failed but lixxboxx was severely damaged pretty bad. We contacted manufacture and a replacement was sent to us. Can't stress enough or boast enough when a company and product both have our interest in mind and with sincerely. I am quick to praise lixxboxx and we are not afraid of to complain when either would not deliver. That being said don't dismiss something so quickly. This truly has been one of our best purchases dealing with multi tenants and owners and different divisions all needing a drop point for shipping and packaging delivery. Works with pretty much all shippers and it's easy.

Great idea but needs more or better features
So I really love the idea of this box however most of my delivery drivers are lazy and won't use it. Mainly because they have problems unlocking it or don't even want to take the time to unlock it. So they just leave the package out infront of the box in the weather. So for me it is a total waste of money. I would love to have the ability to lock and unlock it from the app, during the time of day that they deliver. Or have it auto lock at night and auto unlock during the day. Because I live in a rural area I need it more as a place to store packages if they can't drive down the road due to poor weather. If this fix becomes a thing in the future then this box would be well worth it. I would also adjust the sensor they use to notify if open because it goes off if the wind blows strong or a bird sites on it. Other then that still a very nice product.

Fantastic Design, Great Space, Awesome Technology, Easy to Use, Great Customer Support
Super product, fantastic customer support, awesome design and easy to use. I’m also creating an inner liner for ours that can help protect/allow for food deliveries for pickups in short order. Drivers from Amazon and FedEx drive through our yard like they could care less (UPS NEVER does this) so I purchased this to keep deliveries at the top of our driveway. It’s a stellar product with great support and easy to use.
