These pads are absolutely excellent and superior to the Surf Prep branded pads. Specifically, they are more flexible which allows the user to sand contours and crevices FAR more easily and efficiently. Secondly, these pads don’t get clogged with sanded material nearly as quickly as the SP branded stuff. In the photo, this ONE pad was used to sand 40 linear feet of 5.25” base. This was sanding previously PAINTED boards removed for later reinstallation over new hardwood floors. In my mind, this is remarkably quality.

Delivered in short time and appears to be as advertised. No issues with quality or packaging. Buyers should know that this is a one- sided abrasive product. The other side can be attached to a Velcro hook surface or similar.

Serious Grit foam sanding pads (220) that I received were nicely packaged and are easy to store. I don’t own a power sander that these will fit, but I didn’t get these for power sanding. I was looking for a flexible sanding pad that I could use for finish sanding corners and on the lathe sand into the groves. They work great and cut well. You can also wash these or do wet or dry sanding. Silicon Carbide holds up well and is always sharp. As the carbide abrasive wears small micro chips break off and it provides a new sharp edge. Most standard standing papers the abrasive just wears out and end up going round. They work very well and leave a good finish, and I love that they are made in the USA.

They are a little cheapy feeling. Wear out really really fast

This product bridges the gap between plain sandpaper and a full-blown sanding sponge. It's easier to get a grip on and also much more flexible. It works best on an actual sander and the flexibility helps it conform better. Hand sanding also works but you can't press hard unless you use a block. Some things to be aware of: -Abrasive is only on a single side. -Abrasive coating is thin and fragile. It separates if folded sharply. -The flexibility is both a strength and a weakness. It's more for detail work than stripping paint.

These worked fine with my air sander but what I really like them for is hand sanding my 3d prints that I want to clean up the rough spots on. I find the sponge sandpaper is just more convenient and gives me a smoother finish vs plain sandpaper. Doesn't pack up too quickly with plastic when sanding, fairly generic so I can't recommend it over any other brand, but if the price is right this works as well as any others I have used over the years.

THESE ABRASIVE PADS WORKED VERY WELL FOR MY FINISHING PROJECT. I LIKE THAT THEY HAVE THE FOAM PART, OPPOSED TO JUST HAVING THE ABRASIVE PART. IT ADDS MIRE COMFORT AS I FINISHED MY PROJECT. THIS WAS A GREAT VALUE FOR HOW MANY CAME IN THE PACK. I WILL PURCHASE AGAIN.
