DELICIOUS: SERIES 1

I bought this DVD as I have enjoyed Dawn French in several other series. I have not watched it much to be honest, but it seems to be very different from the other series she's been in.

I found he story was off to a slow start, but it reads like an European novel and becomes enjoyable.Looking for season 2 , but the story line is not so important as to cause devastation if season 2 is not forthcoming.Light comedy and the acting is appreciatedDawn French is so good and her facial expressions entertaining.

I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but I love anything Dawn French so I already know it will be great! Thanks for getting it to me so quickly! Only going to be 4 above for the temp here in North Dakota on Sunday so will binge watch then! Thanks much!

I love Dawn French. So, the show gets stars for her performance. The story line is so-so. Worth a watch, but I don't think I will be re-watching it much. If you enjoy Dawn French, check her out in the Vicar of Dibley - now, that was fun to watch!

This series is an enjoyable drama series! A nice addition to my video library. The dvd's were as advertised new.

My love for Dawn French makes me give this a somewhat passable score because she could read from a phonebook and I would watch, but the plotlines are pretty tawdry and not really any likable characters. It is the first series so maybe it will improve. I just wish whoever is in the know, would make all the F&S’s catslog available and region free. We Yanks need us some Dawn and Jen.

Love Dawn French in anything!!! Nice to see her in a serious role for once, though. Proves her versatility as an actress.

Good acting. Some humorous moments-bit tongue in cheek.Lots of F-bombs-unnecessary.Strong women roles.

If you like convoluted plots, then you will love this

There's simply not enough here to make a riveting series. Storyline is weak and predictable. Neither of the two main characters are at their best in this fairly thin offering. If there's another season, I won't buy it (or watch it).

I thought it was a bit slow to start, but I was hooked after the second episode. Lots of twists and turns and pretty funny (in an understated way).
