Has so far survived over 10 months as dog chair
The item easily slides right over the center console, with two straps on the under side to hold it in place. It feels like real UGG boots. I bought it bc I have a small dog who loves sitting on the center console in my car and I just got a new car and he slides all over the console! He LOVES his new seat more than I even do! He stays right in place, he's no longer sliding when I turn or losing his balance. We live in Upstate NY, so this also keeps him nice and warm.I purchased this around Nov '19 and I'm writing this review Sept '20. My dog's "seat" started looking pretty rough! I bought the cream colored one, so you can imagine it was looking pretty dirty. I wasn't sure how to wash it, I can't remember if it came with instructions or not but there's no tags on it for care. I ended up throwing it in my front loader washer on the delicate setting, and it came out looking new again! So happy! As with all products with this "furry" or "fuzzy" texture, be sure to NEVER put it through the dryer! It's been over a month since I put it through the washer, laid it flat to dry, and put it back in the car. It hasn't fallen apart since the wash, it still has it's original silky-wool feel. If you plan to use this just as decoration, or to turn your center console into a comfy arm rest, it will definitely last a very long time! Mine has gone through over 10 months of dog-butt contact, muddy paws, and the over-all weight of my dog sitting on it, as well as successfully surviving one wash in my washer! It hasn't lost its shape, nor has it developed a "memory sag" imprint like most cushions do.

Okay, so it's pretty cool. It's not as soft as I thought it would be, and it's just a tad looser than I thought to, but that can be fixed. Its really nice, though, and passes the vibe check :)

The fur isn't wonderful.
It's easy to install but it doesn't take long for the fur to look yucky.

Sheds a lot! Straps are tan, sticks out like a sore thumb on black consoles!
So this is cute and it’s comfortable but, for one, it sheds a ton immediately!! Not prepared to wear black pants in my car with this, for two, I kinda wish we could choose the color of the straps, I don’t have a tan console, it’s black, so the tan straps stick out like a sore thumb!

Floofy goodness
It's just a chunk of fur with elastic straps, but it was exactly what I was looking for. It was the perfect extra bit of floof my car needed. Good fit on my wider console.
