GalcoBoot Extender (Black, Ambi)

I bought the DeSantis ankle holster for 2 pistol mags and it turned out a little thin for my big legs. But since it was comfortable and I want more than 8 rounds to defend myself I wanted to be able to use the holster. This extender did the job perfectly and it will protect it from my boot eyelets too. Simple to use, arrived in a quick manner and does what it says with good construction to boot. Worth your money.

I was annoyed that I had to purchase one of these to compliment my ankle holster. However, it DOES work well. I think it's a bit overpriced for what it is, however if you already have the Galco holster, this will tie into it very well and serve its purpose.

I use this over my boot in the winter. Does the job all night long, every night. A little awkward to assemble and put on, but it certainly stays in place once you have it fitted.

It serves the purpose but the material is bulky and "prints" on the ankle.

I really like this product. I am a large man and I have been looking for an ankle holster that fits my ankle for a while. I purchased the Galco ankle glove for my Glock. It fits my ankle but doesn't have much room to spare as it wraps around. It doesn't fit if I try to wear my work boots. This product makes it possible for me to wear a back up gun at work. The product is made with top quality material. I highly recommend it for Law Enforcement or anyone else with with the same need.

The one I got was about 2x longer than it should have been and had a pocket for a magazine. Totally does not work for the 2-4 inches I needed to get around the ankle.

Works very well. I thought it was a gimmick at first that I had to by something to extend the original holster. Then I thought it was highly priced for a piece of neoprene until I got it. The leather piece that covers laces, hooks, etc. protects the neoprene. It fit nicely arouind my boot top with length to spare. If you have a thick ankle and a boot I believe it would still work. The nice thing is that you don't have to have to use it if you're not wearing boots making it more concealable.

Quality construction, just like the matching holsters, 5 stars for that. However, it is completely useless. I wear standard police uniform pants, and when I put this on my Galco Ankle Lite, I couldn't pull my pant leg down over the holster, and that is with a tiny .380 pistol. I ended up removing the leather part, and sewing the velcro to it instead. That works pretty well without the extra bulk of the thick neoprene. If Galco made the holster a couple inches longer instead of creating a demand for their extender, the whole problem would be resolved. The third party vendor that sold this through Amazon sucked, and would not refund my shipping, or I would have just sent it back. Very disappointed in this useless and expensive product.
