Present for my 7 year old grandson and he uses them to decorate clay pots. They work really well.

I got these for my repainting of my garden decorations (highlights, small spaces like small flowers).Reasons for 3 star rating:- 1 star • This is a biggy for me - the box shows the pens are numbered (which for me, helps a great deal to separate colours of similar shades). The pens, in fact, have no numbers: the only ones truly easy to identify are the black, silver and gold - the white and creamy are quite close in shades.- 1 star • The page claims these to be waterproof - they are not completely waterproof, as the decoration I had finished (which was placed on a wooden planter) gained bubbles and peeling on the back of it's hat.+ 1 star - The pens are dual sided - brush tip for doing large spaces (like a water bucket on a welcome sign) and a fine (think of standard felt tips) tip for detailing and highlights.+ 1 star - The pens are easy to use, go on quite thick (deepening of the decorations surface), have a lovely coverage (only the white and creamy need a few going over as the colours are quite see through).+ 1 star - Even with my heavy handed usage (I'm not very gentle when painting), the nibs retain their shape: no breakages to deter from their functionality and versatility.I might've just had bad luck with the peeling (if the others peel, I can at least use the pens for other things); but if you're going to advertise numbers for colours on the products box, than the numbers should be on the product itself.
