I needed a slide advancer for class that would work with Google Slides, as that is where I build all of my classroom presentation slideshows (for convenience). I saw this slide advancer while searching through some far more expensive styles. I love that it can't go onto my finger until I've removed the computer plug in, and that when I've removed it from my finger, I am highly likely to remember the computer plug in because of the gap in the ring. (So far, I have not left the room without my slide advancer or the computer plug in for it. That's a huge difference from the other three I owned before that all were lost to classrooms when I left them behind and someone else picked them up and took them. :/) The battery charges quickly and stays charged for a while. I only teach two classes in person, but the advancer has stayed charged for several weeks at a time with regular use. (I am good about turning it off when not using it, which makes a big difference. But I think it's much better batter than I had anticipated.) It has great range for the classrooms I teach in, which aren't huge. The laser pointer works well, and I can point and advance slides from anywhere in the classrooms I'm in.

So much better than a handheld remote! I use my remote every day in my classroom and if I drop this one, it doesn’t break. I went through way too many broken-because-I-dropped-it remotes before I found this one. Life saver!

I am a middle school teacher. Since the day this came promptly in the mail, I have used it every single day all day long. I wear it constantly. It was easy to set up and it is very comfortable to wear. I love, love, love the laser pointer too. I had it to my students frequently and ask them to point at various slides to prove their knowledge (find a verb, where does the decimal belong, etc...) To be able to not be tied to the SmartBoard or my laptop is THE BEST part. I can be out and about helping students and advance my slides. It works with PowerPoint, Google Slides, Smart Notebook pages, and more. My hands are free to hold the 1,000 things we need at a moment's notice...pens, nurse's notes, Expo markers, etc... I have told everyone I work with about this and they all love it as well. If you are a presenter of any type, you have to get this. Best tech product I own!

I loved this product when I first got it. But just by the second week it stopped working. I have connected customer service and have not heard back yet. If they provide me with a replacement and I have better success with it, I will update my review. I emailed customer service. They sent me a new one. So far (a week), it has been working great! I hope this one is long lasting because it is definitely great when it does work. I’ll update in a few months (unless it does stop working, then I’ll update earlier). I changed this to a 3 star. If this one continues to work, in a few months I will change it to 5 stars.

I am an instructor for a technical college. I loose my normal clicker (presenter) like 25 times a day. I set it on the podium or the white board or the table or a students desk..... it was getting pretty annoying. I found this presenter online and decided to purchase it. I really like the rubber ring for your finger. It will accommodate any finger size as the opening is rubber and can be put on any part of the finger. It is a little uncomfortable on the very base of the finger or thumb. I use it right in the middle to be honest. Very comfortable there. There are only three buttons too. fwd, rev, and laser. You can set it to be pageup/pagedown or left/right if needed... but it defaults to the one I use anyway. The fwd button is in the middle, which took a day or two to get used to, but I did get used to it. You can hold down the buttons for black screen, but I dont ever use that function. Still nice to have. I really like it. Very convenient. I would also like to say its nice just being able to not change out the batteries too. My old clicker went through a lot of AAs, but this one I just plug into the USB port of the computer. One less expense! It comes with a small microusb charging cable, which you probably already have a couple of. It also comes with a nice bag (which is too small) and the USB dongle fits right where your finger goes so you dont lose it when not in use. Pretty handy in my opinion. Anyways, I'm very happy with my purchase and the school will be buying more of these soon for all our instructors. A wise purchase for people who give powerpoints on a daily basis. And as a bonus, it makes me feel like Dr. Strange when I use it. Who knows? Maybe a teleportation portal will show up one day! LOL
