I use this item for 3 dogs, rottie, pittie and German shepherd. Some of my dogs take these mushroom because of old age, lumps and bumps, diarrhea, allergies and anxiety. It has definitely been effective with most of my concerns. They don’t mind the taste. I love the smell.

Not sure how to explain it but here it goes. I have an older rescue German Shepard that suffered from constant diarrhea, After several trips to the vet with no luck in treatment I started reading online articles. One of the things I came across was lymphoma which i noticed my German Shepard had swollen auxiliary lymph node (right behind his front legs) every time he had bouts of diarrhea. After I started using this daily, it has caused his immune system to boost which has caused the diarrhea to be a thing of the past. I love this product and can’t explain how it works but it does for me or should I say for him . We couldn’t live without it.

I have tried the Super Snouts Turkey Tail Mushroom Powder before and we liked the benefits of that one for our golden retriever that has auto immune disease. I figured this one with a variety of mushrooms would be even better for immunity but unfortunately it gave my dog horrible diarrhea all 3 times we fed it to him. Our dog is 2 years old and he has NEVER pooped in the house - not even when he was an 8 week old puppy going through potty training. But this poor guy had such upset stomach after feeding him a full scoop of this. We fed him and went out for dinner ourselves only to come back to poop literally all over our apartment. It was horrible! I think he really tried to hold it and then finally went and panicked so he dragged it all over the apartment. He continued to have diarrhea all through the night and got so dehydrated that by Monday morning he couldn't stand up. I remembered to check basic canine vitals and checked his gums - he was severely dehydrated. After shoving fluids in him and fasting him for 24 hours - he got better. I couldn't pinpoint what caused it and honestly thought it was just his Addison's disease / levels being low as it was getting close to the time of the month when he needs his DOCP injection. However, after administering his medication and after days of solid poops - I tried giving him another half a scoop (dosage for a 72 pound dog is 3 whole scoops per day by the way) with dinner last night - and today we woke up to him having horrible diarrhea again. The worst part is we purchased the big container and spent $46.00 + on it. Instead of this supplement helping our dog - it has made him feel much worse and it has caused us a lot of stress. Now we're $46+ in the hole, have a whole container of supplement powder that can't be returned / will go to waste and a ruined set of black tatami mats that cost us over $200 a piece as they were custom made and shipped from Tokyo. Most importantly, our dog went through such a traumatizing experience on his own because we weren't home. Luckily I knew what to do before he got even more sick / dehydrated and we also ended up with a hefty vet bill.

I love SuperSnouts products, and I have been giving my pup their Joint Powder and Urinary Berry for years. Knowing the quality and ingredients of their Joint Powder (100% Green Lipped Mussel) and Urinary Berry (100% Cranberry and Wild Blueberry), I didn't think twice to choose Super Shroom when I decided to add mushrooms supplement to my pup's food regimen. I expected the same quality, 100% mushrooms, nothing else. I only put half of the daily dose (instead of doubling like they recommend), but my pup just does not eat her food when I include Super Shroom. My pup eats anything and everything, so I decided to check the ingredients... I then learned that these are myceliated mushrooms. I should have read reviews and checked the ingredients before buying this product. Mycelium is the vegetative body for fungi that produce mushrooms. Mushroom growing kits you see in stores, are one good example. You grow your mushrooms on grain, wood chips, soil... whatever comes with the kit, instead of growing on logs. You eat the actual mushrooms (fruiting bodies), though, not the soil, or what's in the kit. I have no issues how they grow their mushrooms, but SuperSnouts/Diggin' Your Dog does not have any data showing the percentage of grain, mycelium, or fruiting bodies for this product. They also list myceliated brown rice as inactive ingredients. That makes me to think that they are mixing everything together. Please do your own research. I am glad that there many people out there saying this product has helped their pups, and that's wonderful. I, however, am not convinced of the benefits of the ingredients, especially when the company can't verify how much of what is in their product. Last but not least, this product is not grain-free, as they have myceliated brown rice in the blend.

DO NOT BUY THIS FOR YOUR FUR BABY!! This product was said to help remove "fatty tissue" but it has not done that. My poor baby girl has a bad fever and THREE HUGE RED "FATTY SPOTS" show up on her since this morning. So in a time frame of less than 24 hours, this product has made her extremely sick. I am now going to have to take her to the vet and make sure she isn't going to die. I think this company should be responsible for any and all of the vet bills this will result in, it is their product that did this. I don't want my baby girl to die. She is my whole world.
