This is great orgeat, but I’m sad…
This is the good stuff and you should definitely order it but I have to report my sad experience. The last bottle I ordered came with the cap very bulged out and I could not open the bottle without using a large pair of pliers. I was afraid to use it but Amazon would not accept a return because it is “food”. I finally got it open using said pliers and it smelled funny so I poured it out. So sad… but I’ll buy it again because this is the best orgeat.

Significant improvement over the regular syrups
I bought this for Mai Tais. I love a good, not overly sweet Mai Tai. I had been using the M___n brand orgeat and the more realistic nature of the Small Hands syrup adds to the cocktail, but to tell the truth, its doesn't obviously improve the end product (Mai Tai, thats what we're after, right?) It tastes more like almonds, there are some leftover small bits of almond, its more viscous, but in the end you still have about the same Mai Tai. But I didn't take any stars away for that, because its a nice product, and for my money, a worthwhile upgrade over the other bulk almond syrups.

It's good orgeat; Caveat Emptor Re: Delivery
This is probably among the best orgeats out there and I've bought it many times. If you can get it delivered intact, go for it- But having had to argue with Amazon for hours over refunding me for broken bottles, I'm going to find another source.

Sweet and subtle
Subtle, but that's the point

Delicious
This is my go-to orgeat. It's made in the bay area, is made from natural ingredients and it tastes wonderful.

Tastes great
I saw this recommended on the YouTube channel How to Drink. I bought a bottle for tiki drinks and it tastes great. Powerful flavor, so you don't need to use a lot in drinks for the flavor to come through. Bottle should last a while, but I'll be buying another when it runs out.

Actual Orgeat!
It's amazing that this legend in the Bay Area bar industry has these ingredients available to home enthusiasts, and the top bars in the country! Incredible quality! I can't wait to use it in more cocktails, like a genuine Mai Tai, but yesterday I made a delicious and very simple cocktail using homemade limoncello, fresh lemon juice, and bubby water from my soda stream. I poured it over ice, and sipped it in the backyard, making the most out of quarantine with home mixology! Hopefully when things get back to normal I'll be able to incorporate more of Jennifer Colliau's products into my cocktail classes.

This Does Not Taste or Smell Anything Like Almonds
I was very disappointed in this so called "orgeat" syrup. In the past we have gotten our orgeat syrup from another small company and really enjoyed it, but we were not able to purchase again, so I researched and found this one from the Small Hands Company. I was really hoping to like it, but when we tasted it upon arriving my husband and I were so disappointed in the flavor. Basically the only thing you taste is sweetness. Literally no almond flavor whatsoever. Will not buy again.
