Is this charger fully automatic? Plug it in/hook it up and it does the rest? Or do you have to push buttons to select battery type/size/charge rate?

This is NOT a charger that I would recommend to bring back a dead battery as it is, in reality, a trickle charger. it will charge slowly and maintain a charge for you automatically. It is specifically for 12V batteries.

Will this unit charge 2 12V batteries in the same amount of time it would take using 2 separate 12V Battery Tenders?

I beleve it will. I keep two batteries as backup for my toy hauler. After using them I hook them up and by the nexk day they are charged. I love them. I have two and a couple of singles.

How long are the cables that connect to the batteries? I have a small sports car with a battery in the back and in the front of the car. Do I need extension cables?

Each cable is approx 6 1/2 ft long which will give you a width of 13 feet. Hope this helps.

Does it come with quick connect ends as well as the alligator clip ends?
