But either way it was gone, and honestly wouldn't have lasted much longer either way, ive never had my phones stay alive on me more than a year. But this gorgeous thing is so rugged and heavy that it makes my hardened toll hands look petite. I could use the screen to stir the milk into my piping hot cup of Yorkshire tea, while video calling my good buddy many miles away in England, and the thing would find it enriching. Every old person thats seen it so far has fallen in love and wished it to be their own. and whipping it out in a crowd of pretentious people who brag about their new apple ipod225egad+ is truly satisfying. They can laugh at it if they wish, but they will never know the joy of simple joy of sitting outside in the grass for hours and thinking of things that make you happy. All they know is scrolling that certain horrid app at the tiniest trickle of boredom and using ai to write their essays, further destroying their ability to think and use their brains. I was a bit worried about the complications of getting service to it and wether it was truly unlocked because it seemed some people had troubles with it, but I was able to do it easily without hassle. The programmable button on the side is immensely handy, i set it to turn on my flashlight which speaking of is very bright. The camera and microphone quality really isn't half bad, actually better than my previous phone, ill attach a few photos taken with it. You cant do professional photography with it but it does its job. I did see a few complaning about short battery life but I haven't been bothered by that at all yet. It might drain quickly if your spending hours on it scrolling, but if thats what your doing with it, its not really the phone for you, It lasts me multiple days with light use. And it can emulate Mother 3!!! And you can use the physical buttons as the controller instead of having crap ones on the screen!?! This phone is truly a work of art. it might not be for everyone but it was exactly what I needed in a phone, I highly recommend it. Edit: after a good run of 4 months I have already very tragically lost my gorgeous beloved phone, it did not break, and I guarantee it is still functioning wherever it is. I simply accidentally dropped it in the woods somewhere while taking my previously mentioned Sweetie for a walk, but It served me incredibly well in that time, when I someday get another phone, it will be for sure one of these. After my time with it I could never use another. It was nice having people have the ability to call me but for now it might be best to go back to my phoneless ways, until we meet again cat s22 my love.

I was extremely happy with the phone in the beginning, however on, Sept 14, five months after it was purchased, I dropped the phone on the floor and the entire phone cracked in half with the top half completely separating from the bottom half. All my information is now lost, and of course i need a new phone. I am a mom, and dropping my phone is pretty much par for the course. I would think a phone advertised as rugged would be able to handle a 3 foot drop. So. Overall, this phone is great.... if you are ok buying a new phone every 6 months...I for one, am not.

Sadly, there are reasons this phone is listed at the time of review as "frequently returned". I really wanted to like it. I knew it would be slow (lower end processor and only 2G RAM), but what isn't mentioned is that this is running on a signed but less well tested aftermarket / altered version of the ROM, so it doesn't exactly line up with what is widely listed on the internet. The benefits of this change: The company has removed some of the bloatware present on the official OS, including those features that are carrier-specific or are no longer functional because the previous distributor shut down. However, it seems some glitches were introduced as well. Bluetooth frequently crashes in a silent manner, forcing a full reboot to get it working again. On the flip side, the phone will also sometimes spontaneously reboot, so half of the time it solves itself. Carrier compatibility has been hit-or-miss even with fully manual APN entry, buttons and screen taps sometimes think they've been double-pressed or long-pressed when they are only clicked quickly, and quite a few apps Google lists as compatible will either crash or complain about missing permissions despite having been granted. If that wasn't enough, in less than a couple weeks, the cell radio stopped reliably connecting to the carrier. In hopes that it was merely some kind of corrupt data (cache) issue, I mistakenly tried to wipe and factory reset the phone. Now it powers on long enough to flash the 'Powered by Android Go' screen, and then it dies. When connected by USB, my computer shows the phone is suffering from the dreaded 900e error, and there is no public tool that can recover this device. In other words, it's now nothing but an extremely expensive paperweight. I really wanted to like it. It was one of the few remaining real Android devices in a flip phone package. It has a durable case, promises decent battery life, and it looked like a good compromise between compact design and functionality. Unfortunately, this particular model or at least this one unit turned out to be a poorly supported 💩. I'm leaving this review with 3 stars because despite the numerous issues, the ultimate and complete failure was caused by my choice to reset the phone. However, be warned so the mistakes and lessons here might prevent someone else from doing the same and losing their investment.
