Did not expect this to be as well made as it is. I'm rather picky, but this was a needed last minute purchase needed for extra seating at the holiday's, that was neutral enough to sort of blend in. For the price, it is an unbeatable value. Sturdy. Easy assembly.

Everyone else was correct about the screws being too long on the front cross bar. So drill a pilot hole and get shorter screws or cut 3/16 off the tip but only if you've made a pilot hole because the point will be gone. Not a game changer for me. Nice finish and lightweight but sturdy.

Solid wood, easy to assemble, looks real classy.

Directions were great… items were all well marked and very organized! The spreader bars were difficult to screw into the hard wood and we had to drill a pilot hole. Impact drill helped, but the screws could be 1/8 inch shorter. 4 of the screws went through the narrow bottom of the leg. A factory drilled pilot hole would have solved all these problems! Did end up using wood glue as well as some of the bars still wiggled slightly. 6 chairs purchased and for the price, love the counter height chairs! Paid$188 for 2 chairs… would buy again!

These chairs match my August Grove Shyanne kitchen island very nicely even though they are from a different collection. They are a slightly darker shade of cream than my island (not really noticeable though), but this was a great price for a pair of chairs, costing a third of what I would have paid for the ones that were in the collection. Furthermore, the style of them matches the island better, too. These have turned legs which matches the curves of my island's legs. I'm very pleased with the style, color, quality, and price.

Color, sitting and eating.

These chairs match the 5 piece set I bought, which is great. However they aren't exactly the same as the ones that came in the set. They do not have height adjusters for the legs, so they are both a bit wobbly. In addition, the bolts that old the legs into place did not fit and I stripped one of the bolts trying to get it in. Got a replacement bolt and tried to shift it a bit while screwing but it got too tight and I had to stop halfway so I didn't end up stripping another bolt. If you want extra chairs for the 5piece set, or just need replacements, then I would say these definitely match color and style, otherwise I would pick something else if I had to choose again.
