A word of warning, sometimes laptops are manufactured with the the processor soldered directly to the motherboard. With lighter weight and thinner laptops this is common and the processor cannot be replaced. Make sure you are able to remove your current processor.The front side bus on the T410 is set for 1066 MHz, and the i7 720QM can run at both 1066 and 1333. So in that regaurd you are fine.Last piece of advice; do yourself a favor and do research to see if any one else has done this to your particular model of laptop already to see if it has worked for someone else. I say this simply because when a mother board is designed, it is designed to be used with certain processors and sometimes you are limited to the number of cores/threads a mother board can work with. I have not run into this too much but do a little more research.So after all of that; if the T410 has a replaceable processor, I would probably try it. Do realize that chances are there that it may not be compatible but in my mind those chances are slim. If it doesn't work; there are plenty of cheap refurbished computers out there you can buy for the purposes of upgrading with the i7 720qm. I have more experience with Dell computers (Latitude and Precision Series) and those take the i7 without a problem. **Q: can this fit a asus g60jx gamer republic laptop?** A: It looks like its possible but not recomended do to heat disipation constraints...
