This is exactly what I needed. Such a great quality design. I am starting to be a great fan of Smallrig. Quality at reasonable prices! The movement at first was difficult because I thought it had to be adjusted, but no. You just have to move it. It will probably help to place the coldshoe and attach a phone before trying to make movement adjustments. You'll have more leverage. The magsafe can be removed by using the included hex key. Use the hex to tighten the coldshoe to the rig or camera. It's completely solid!

Phone clamps with tripod mounts used to be the standard, but with MagSafe, it's so much easier to slap your phone on one of these instead. Very well built metal construction, with extremely strong magnets. There's some adjustable points to angle your phone and it takes some force to adjust, meaning it's not going to move on you. Extremely stable, extremely handy. SmallRig quality is way better than the price suggests.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this to use with my DJI RS4 Pro. The phone mount that came with the Combo package was not big enough to hold my S24 Ultra in a case. I have the i-Blason Armorbo case. I previously bought the SmallRig Phone Support for DJI Stabilizers, Adjustment Phone Mount Adapter with 1/4"-20 Threaded Hole, Cold Shoe for DJI RS 4 Mini/RS 4 Pro/RS 3 /RS 3 Pro/RS 3 Mini/RS 2 / RS C2 / R S/R SC - 4301 but it also wasn't big enough to hold my phone. The build quality is very sturdy and the price is great for what you get. Magnet strength: This mount works really well. I have no issue with mounting my phone onto there and the magnet holds really good. The only thing is that you have to be weary about storage and making sure it doesn't get close to your SD cards or Hard drive! Value for money: The price is excellent for the quality that you get.

£15 at time of review I've been buying SmallRig gear for about a decade, so have several of their cages, adapters handles etc, I’ve always been impressed with how considered and well designed plus well built their products are. While this is quite simple, the attention to detail means it’s perfect, plus really flexible, as the MagSafe part can be removed and easily attached to a magic arm or cheese plate etc. The additional 1/4” threads on the arm are handy for attaching other bits of gear, making it very versatile… My only gripe is that I find the hinges way too stiff, hopefully they will get a bit easier to move with time, although there’s no way to adjust them Hope my review was helpful
