But out of the box it doesn't work as you need a separate micro:bit board to make it work. Those run $25-30 so that's not too bad but it should have just been in the box to start. The micro:bit board is the part that you can program and that has the wi-fi and bluetooth imbedded on it. So now to review this kit, Im reliant on a processor from another company and when there's an issue - is it compatibility issue, a programming issue, a processor issue or an issue with the components in this kit. I did spend some time on the product's wiki page and figured out how to do some basic programming for it. It's been a challenge but fun. The robot moves fairly smoothly and does a pretty good job of staying stable and self righting. Will need more time to figure it out but it's been fun so far.
