Wolfcraft 5884 Corner Sander

This is such a clever little tool from Wolfcraft, well made and looks like it will last, meant for sanding corners by hand, same shape and more or less the same same size as an electric detail sander (I find the sanding pads for my electric one work okay for this too) but it works very well and fast manually using this tool and for some things it works better than my electric detail sander. I sanded down a pine cupboard with this tool just to see how long it took and it took a little under twice as long and of course it was relatively quiet, unlike all electric sanders which are noisy old things! It is the cheapest on Amazon and it is not available many places (I checked!) and I highly recommend having one if you do tend to sand wood down and even for just incase! I enclose a couple of pictures showing one door sanded and one not and then both sanded, all done with this Wolfcraft tool!

Great little sander for crafts

It works although doesn't feel very sturdy. I'm just wondering how long it will last and do I buy another when it becomes frayed - I don't know or can I use pads on it when it has become worn out - i don't know but for now it works well.

Easy to hold and get flat on the surface.Pads easy to change but the price, really.

Bought this thinking it would be smaller but it’s much bigger. Handy tool. I used it and found it quite sturdy. Would love a smaller size but happy with this for now.

I think this is one of the best hand sanders I've ever bought. It is very comfortable to use and it just seems to sand better.

Very disappointed with this item - it arrived with the hook and loop layer having come completely unstuck from the base of tool! When I tried removing the tool from the packaging the glue then grabbed and stuck the velcro (which was still firmly attached to sanding sheet) in the wrong position. I then had to spend almost an hour carefully trying to get it unstuck so that it could be positioned correctly. The result now is that every time I want to change the paper to a different grade the Velcro comes off with it! I would have sent the item back but I needed to finish a job where only this shaped tool would fit.On a more positive note, the sanding sheets that came with it are good.
