Will an a4 folder fit inside this? can you tell me the internal measurements please? the folder to store in it is 250mm wid x 41mm deep x 317mm high

This document holder has the below internal measurements: Internal Height (mm): 343 Internal Width (mm): 246 Internal Depth (mm): 55 Unfortunately, it looks like your folder is slightly too wide for this document holder. We would recommend the FMDCK-RED document holder for your folder.

i wouldn't want to secure to wall, dont the 4 holes in the back compromise 'fireproof'?

This document holder is not fireproof - it's a container designed to store fire safety documentation. This is normally mounted in a prominent place within a building so that the fire safety documentation can be accessed by relevant people, such as the fire brigade, in the event of a fire.

Can this product be secured to the wall? Does it come with wall brackets?

Yes, this document holder can be secured to a wall. It doesn't come with a wall-mounting bracket, but it does have pre-drilled holes in the back of it, to enable you to secure it to a wall.
