I saw this reviewed in the current issue of Cooking Light Magazine and they gave healthy sandwich suggestions for using it, so I bought it. We live on a farm and have to come up with 3 meals a day, and this time of year we may want a light snack at odd times of the day or night and this is really handy. You just put a bottom in the unit (like an English muffin, or a sandwich thin, or I have used one of those bagel thins), add cheese, cooked sausage or bacon, Canadian bacon, or a slice of deli ham and sometimes nothing more. Put the next "layer" of the unit in place and add crack an egg into it (I suggest spraying it with non-stick spray), put on a top and cook 5 minutes. Its hot, its filling and you can control the ingredients. Does not take long to heat up and while it is, I assemble the ingredients I am using.

I like this book very much and refer to it often. I have a Hamilton Beach breakfast maker and so I can make an egg mcmuffin just like one from McDonalds, except mine is better as I can add ingredients to my taste. I have made an egg mcmuffin with a slice of pineapple and Canadian bacon which was delicious. Another idea is using a bagel smeared with cream cheese, smoked salmon and an egg with capers. Besides the mcmuffins, I recently made a delicious bread pudding which comes towards the end of the book. All the recipes only take minutes to prepare and cook.The author, Jennifer Williams, has many imaginative ideas.

I love the simplicity of the book and the recipes it gives. The recipes have some variety but are not extreme ingredient type of sandwiches. It is the perfect companion to my breakfast sandwich maker-I highly recommend it!

I bought the Hamilton Beach breakfast sandwich machine and even though it comes with a selection of recipes I wanted to do more with this small appliance. This small cookbook takes the breakfast sandwich machine to lunch and light dinner with soup and salad. The recipes are quick and simple. This is a good investment if you own the breakfast sandwich machine. Highly recommended.

After preparing dozens of breakfast sandwiches (The Mc... type) I decided I needed to experiment with my handy sandwich maker. The Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich recipe book has broadened my meals...and probably other things, but we won't go into that! I haven't tried all the recipes, but the ones I've had are excellent. I LOVE the Bread Pudding!Would recommend this to everyone...have, in fact, and bought one for my sister.

This book has some good ideas but not enough content in the book for the price. Your better off finding recipes online!

We bought this as a gift for our daughter and son-in-law to go along with the breakfast sandwich maker, and you'd think we'd gotten them a whole new kitchen. The directions on the machine say you can't use egg whites, but they didn't read that part and made sandwiches from this book that did call for egg whites and there was no problem. They had so much fun with the sandwich maker and this book that we shared recipes after we'd gotten our own breakfast maker. It seems we never get tired of making this simple but delicious little meals.The best part about this book is that men seem to enjoy tinkering with the machine and the recipes, tweaking them here and there to come up with new combinations. Anything that gets my husband interested in cooking and making me breakfast is worth twice the price.
