These throw some great sparks with a decent rod. Made a few rod and striker sets with some wood handles and leather straps for myself and friends. Very happy with these

the 90 degree edges were not as sharp as they should be, does not srape as well as the back of a spine of a good bushcraft blade. I will have to do some work using a grinding bench. I like the design but mine all need work.

Nice scrapers for a ferro rod. The spine is plenty sharp to throw good sparks. The scraper on the end is okay but something I likely won’t use. Very lightweight but I also feel they’re durable enough to last a long time.

Use to use the back of a pocket knife blade to spark a fire with a ferrro rod, it takes many strikes to spark enough to get a flame going. But this Striker is a game changer! Great little gadget to attach to the ferro rod with a hank of hemp. It makes a flame very quickly with just a few strikes. It also has many other uses that I have not tried yet.
