Works perfectly with my Oral-B Pro 5000 toothbrush
I purchased my Oral-B Pro 5000 toothbrush almost 9 years ago. After all this time it is still going strong. But unfortunately the charging base died last December. I decided to try a non-OEM replacement to save money, which is why I ordered this model by Lap Pow. I am happy to say that this charger has worked perfectly during the past 3 months that I have been using it. As long as you have a model of Oral-B toothbrush that uses this style of charger, it should work fine for you as well. Keep in mind that there are some newer Oral-B toothbrushes that do use a different style of charger.

Charges my Oral-B toothbrush flawlessly
Charging works consistently and charge speed seems good. There is an auto shut-off when the battery on your toothbrush is full. Good replacement for the official charger at a good price.

Rating could change after thorough testing
Some reviewers have had reliability and overheating problems. The charger worked fine during a brief test. I'll do another after the toothbrush is completely discharged.I ran a test starting with a fully discharged toothbrush and finishing with the device completely charged. During operation the charger was slightly warmer than the surroundings. I don't expect that to change over time, but it is always wise to watch for devices not working as expected. This could be a predictor of future safety problems.My good rating stands!
