Wow works great, great flexibility, easy to read and all the connections are user friendly. Really pump's the speakers. Great value for the money.

I have a larger Behringer PA that I use for larger gigs and ones where hauling gear isn't a problem. I use it with two 15" Rockstar speakers, and I'm perfectly happy with it, except for the carrying. This Pyle is a nice substitute for smaller gigs or when I just can't carry everything in my small hatchback. I use it with two 12" Rockstar speakers, and I plug everything into it: vocal mic, guitar, and drum machine. The guitar has several effects pedals connected to it, and the vocal mic also has some processors inline, including a harmony effect. The Pyle handles everything and has plenty of volume for the 12" speakers. It would power the 15" ones, but the point is to make the equipment smaller. It is enough and keeps me from getting too loud, which is always a tendency. The sound is clear, it accepts either line inputs or mic inputs, and has very little distortion. There is a bit of background noise, but it is not noticeable when actually playing. One of my pedals didn't quite sound right--a heavy metal pedal--but I seldom use that one, and replaced it with a different pedal--a volume booster--that I use to emphasize solos, so the loss became an advantage. The Pyle is also easy to set up with standard controls: volume, bass, treble, effects level, and a master EQ, volume and effects. The only drawback is that it has echo and delay instead of reverb, but if it's adjusted properly, it emulates reverb pretty well. There is also a set of controls for plugging in external music: CD player, SD card, USB port, though I haven't used any of those yet. Minus one star for echo replacing reverb and some background noise.

I was VERY impressed with how well this unit worked in the application I bought it for. We used it on a parade float to help a a bass guitar, keyboard, and a singer be heard well along with our STRONG drummer. We ran six 8-ohm 12" 2-way loudpeakers. We ran 3 in a daisy chain from each output and sound quality was fine. No issues with clipping or anything. We got up to around probably 50-60% of the usable output of the unit, setting each channel's gain about noon, and each send close to noon or a little higher. Mains volume we had about noon to 2ish. The unit is quiet, not adding any undue hiss or buzz. Even more impressive, we were running off of a 3000 watt inverter we installed in our church van. It worked beautifully for 3 hours straight and didn't even get warm to the touch. I didn't use much of the effects or the bluetooth features, mainly because I didn't have time to try them out first. Thank goodness for fast shipping, or we would have been sunk! I normally stay away from these ... um... lower end electronics, but this thing works great. Very happy.

Extremely unhappy that I was duped into buying this PILE of CR**. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and ABYSMAL Quality Control doesn't even begin to describe it. My Pyle PMX840BT mixer amp failed on the first day, just hours after receiving the Amazon shipment. Thankfully Amazon has approved a free return and I don't see any reason to not get my refund also immediately. The mixer portion of it still works, although the quality has been VERY poor right from the start. The amp is total dead and there is no signal coming out from either of the two 1/4 speakers outputs on the back of the unit. The unit powers up but the internal amp has just flat out died. I can get sound only if I use the line out feature because it skips the amp circuit. As for the amp quality from the few hours of life I got from it before it quit, I would have to say it is of very poor quality. There was too much hissing and noise and some sort of weird high pitched noise from the FX circuit. This thing puts out NO WHERE NEAR 800W of audio power and it barely gets as strong as my 10 year old 200W guitar amp running the same speakers.. Also, the dual speaker outputs on the back is a fraud setup. It is simply a mono signal physically split into two plugs to trick buyers.

The Pyle PMX840BT is a full featured PA amp at a great price on Amazon, complete with Bluetooth that allows for wireless music playback from a smart phone. Can be used as a PA amp for live music or karaoke and has inputs for RCA jacks and a 3.5mm headphone type jack to connect an mp3 player, CD, and/or karaoke player. It also plays back music from a USB flash drive or SD card. Vocal mics connect with XLR jacks (recommended), guitars and other instruments with std. 1/4" mono phone plugs. The XLR connections are more sensitive and give more volume to mics than using 1/4" mono phone plugs, so it's worth buying an adapter (or XLR mic cable) if your mic cable isn't an XLR type. The amp has an echo effect that can be added to vocals or any of the channels with individual channel controls for effect amount, bass, treble and volume. There is also a master volume control. About the only thing it doesn't have is a foot switch to instantly remove echo when talking into a mic, although the echo isn't real strong from this amp. It also has an effects loop output/input. There are only two speaker outputs which are 1/4" mono phone plug jacks, so if you want to connect a subwoofer or more speakers it would have to be from your speakers or from a splitter adapter. I use mine with two speakers on stands and a powered subwoofer that connects to one of my speakers and it sounds great! The volume from this is plenty loud for most applications, I recently used mine to provide music for dancing at a wedding reception and was asked to turn the volume down! Do understand that this is a mono amp, not stereo. It converts the stereo signal received from your external music source into a mono signal that is sent to both of your speakers. It's not a big deal for most applications and you will be hard-pressed to find an amp with all these features at this price!

Works well. Fan is a bit loud, but my instruments easily drown it out. The price was great. I'll see how long it lasts for me.

very satisfied love the SD card slot for my music I do a lot recordings and I use the SD card to load my music on so I can play along with my Guitar and voice. If you put a good set speaker with this works great.

does not seem to put out the 800 watts when system is connected. Is ok for small rooms.
