Great batteries.
I have used quite a few of these over the years. They last quite a while and are worth every penny compared to some other battery's out there. Quick and easy to fill. People saying it's a pain to fill and charge probably shouldn't be changing a battery out in the first place. I like the fact it needs the acid added that way you know you're getting a fresh battery that hasn't been sitting around. Highly recommend this battery.

Some hassles, but GREAT battery!
I ordered this battery from DVolt Batteries via Amazon. The battery arrives un-activated. That means that you have to fill it with sulfuric acid and then charge it. Sounds fairly easy, just realize that it takes quite a while before it will be ready to use. And Sulfuric acid is kinda scary stuff to work with. The battery arrived quicker than expected. Brownie points for DVolt for very quick shipping. The acid is actually very easy and safe to use - it's in a container with six cells that match/line-up with the battery cells exactly. you align the acid cells with the battery cells and press down, the battery will puncture the acid cells and then the acid flows into the battery. Slowly. This takes over half an hour, closer to an hour. After the battery has been filled with acid, you remove the empty acid cells, place a permenant cap on the battery (make sure you line it up exactly), then let it sit for a coyuple hours. Next, check the voltage - it will be low. There are guidelines supplied by the manufacturer. finally you have to trickle charge it, basically overnight. Next day you're ready to go.My bettery came slightly damaged in shipping. I didn't notice the damage until I was ready to install it. I let DVolt know via Amazon and they were very good to work with. It took a couple tries to get the problem resolved, but I now have a good, functional battery. Another brownie point for DVolt.I have another YUASA battery, the same model, and it's performed flawlessly for 6 years now, even sitting outside one Minnesota winter. I love these batteries! I don't care much for the mail order activation part of it, but it's really not that bad.

Good Battery
Only thing I didn't anticipate was having to fill it with the electrolyte ... but ... that was pretty easy and didn't take too much added time for the replacement. The battery was what I expected and the fitment was on the money and seems to be doing very good.

Can't Keep a Charge
I bought this battery for my Seadoo GTI. I followed the instructions, put the electrolytes in, and charged it. When I put the battery in my Seadoo, I was getting iBR fault errors like crazy and my iBR wouldn't work. After a day of troubleshooting, I took the battery back out, charged it again. This time my Seadoo worked properly, but it was too late and I couldn't get out to the lake until Friday. 5 days later, I tried to go to the lake but this damn battery was dead again! This is a brand new battery and should not be dead from sitting for 5 days. My Continental sat for months without an issue. I will never buy this brand again or a battery from Amazon again. I knew better but did not trust my gut. Always buy locally!!!

OEM battery for many motorcycles
Good price for an OEM battery. I replaced my Goldwing battery with this. Great price compared to buying from a dealer. I used to use gel years ago but switched back to acid. Better!

High Quality OEM Brand Always Delivers
Pros:- Rated for 270CCA, Testing concludes it is producing 404CCA which is absolutely fantastic.- Reliable Brand. YUASA is a standard OEM battery for MANY powersport manufacturers and is known to last a very long time and perform well.Cons:- Requires filling the battery with acid which is included and very easy to do.- Requires charging (at least in my case) after filling the battery with acid.- Cannot be oriented in any angle other than vertical.- Heavy and outdated tech.- No real WarrantyConclusion:Although there are many cons with this battery, the pros are truly worth it for anyone interested in a new powersport battery. YUASA makes arguably the best batteries in the business and they have a high-quality reputation to prove it.I'm a motorcycle mechanic and have seen hundreds of bikes that I've worked on that still have this OEM YUASA battery installed from the factory and it still runs over 8-10 years later in some cases. They are pretty bulletproof batteries and even tho it's still the same-old lead-acid style and not lithium ion or GEL, it still works wonders and does the job flawlessly. It really is worth the price in the end. If you found this review helpful, please indicate it below by hitting the button. Thanks!
