Enough is never enough!
Let me start by saying that "The Stuff" (1985) is a cinematic masterpiece. No, really, it is! A masterpiece of utterly bonkers, deliciously dated, and surprisingly prescient B-movie schlock that will leave you both entertained and questioning every decision you've ever made involving a spoon and a carton of ice cream. The premise is simple: A mysterious white, fluffy, delicious, and addictive substance bubbles up from the ground and takes the world by storm. It's zero-calorie, fills you up, and tastes like... well, like "The Stuff." Everyone loves it! They can't get enough! Except, you know, it's also eating them from the inside out and turning them into gooey, zombie-like husks. Minor detail. The genius of this film lies in its complete and utter commitment to its own absurdity. We've got corporate greed, a former FBI agent named Mo (because of course), a kid who hates "The Stuff" because it moves in his fridge (a completely reasonable reaction, if you ask me), and a marketing campaign so aggressively catchy it makes "Got Milk?" look like a shy whisper. The "Stuff" jingle will burrow into your brain and set up a permanent residence, right next to your paranoia about dairy products.Honestly, the special effects are a character unto themselves. Remember that scene where the Stuff just... expands? It's like watching a giant, malevolent marshmallow have an existential crisis. And don't even get me started on the Stuff Monster at the end. It's glorious. It's terrible. It's everything you want from a monster made of sentient dessert. If you're looking for deep philosophical insights or a cohesive plot, you've come to the wrong place. But if you want to witness a film that perfectly encapsulates the glorious chaos of 80s horror-comedy, then grab some popcorn (NOT "The Stuff," for the love of all that is holy), dim the lights, and prepare to be utterly bewildered and thoroughly amused.Just don't be surprised if, after watching, you find yourself eyeing your yogurt with extreme suspicion. You've been warned.

Movie is OK at best
Story is definitely something unique. Special effects are ok. Image is great in some instances. The green screen effects make this movie extremely outdated.7/10

Finally unrated
Bought this version for it having the 30 minute longer cut. It does have extra gore which is fine, but it also has alot of extra scenes, some which are unnecessary and felt like padding. Definitely an improvement over the bluray
