Great TV, shame about the delivery. This was my second one. The first tv never made it. Smashed before it ever got out of the box. This one barely made it either, massive dents all over the box of this one. My advice Amazon, sack your delivery company and get a new one. 👍

To preface my review I’d like to add the disclaimer; I have never purchased this TV but did receive it as a gift from a family member. That being said this TV has been perfect for me right out of the box and still remains as bright and vibrant as the day I unboxed it. I will touch on the positives and negatives of this TV below so there will be a lot to read to help you form your opinion. The positives: • Incredible peak brightness combined with vibrant HDR (High Dynamic Range), this leads to beautiful colour reproduction due to the broader colour space. (This is especially noticeable during 4K footage revolving around nature or any scene with heavy usage of vivid CGI, where reds, greens and blues are noticeably rich) • QNED Mini LEDs provide amazing backlighting and result in a near perfect viewing experience during the day, allowing for deep blacks to cut through in any ambient well lit environment whilst rejecting reflections you would see in other TVs without QNED. • The Alpha 8 AI processor feels fast and responsive leading to UI interaction feeling snappy and responsive (I have experienced no noticeable slow down over time, I do keep software updated and highly recommend you do the same for an optimal experience) • Refresh rate on this is solid coming in at 120hz or out to 144hz with VR gaming. This makes it more than suitable for any content you watch and amazing for gaming. (GTA 6 is right around the corner and based on how other titles look on this it would be a perfect upgrade in advance of its release) • Audio quality is great on this thing if you don’t wish to opt for using a soundbar with this TV (I do still recommend one). I think it greatly benefits from its AI sound processing/up mixing here turning standard audio into a virtual 9.1.2 channel surround sound experience that is a notch above the rest. The negatives/room for improvement; • You definitely want to maintain an ideal head on viewing angle, side viewing on this TV isn’t perfect as with panels of these types they do suffer from narrow viewing angles which outside of that you will notice some colour degradation (still more than watchable but something to be aware of when factoring in placement/location of the TV) • Noticeable (but manageable) haloing/blooming, because of local dimming (essentially the LEDs behind the screen being divided into smaller clusters and turns off LEDs behind dark areas of the content you’re watching) you end up with a mild foggy/hazy look around bright objects on dark scenes (because the TV turns on the backlighting so the bright object in frame can appear lit/bright, but the zone is larger than the object this results in light bleeding through as the panel can not block out 100% of the lighting. It’s worth noting this is a downside of the display tech used here and not exclusive to solely this TV) Summary: a fantastic, easy to setup TV right out of the box that provides an impeccable viewing experience suitable for any environment and offering good value for money with its large size, picture quality and features, making it very fairly priced for what you get here. I’d highly recommend this TV, just make sure you have someone to lift it so you don’t risk damaging your new device as it is quite heavy and large.
