Worked great for my diy home security camera project streaming to a web ui. Bought 3 and had zero issues. Would buy again. Also I should mention I’ve bought probably 20 different brands of esp32’s over the years and have seen a wide range of different quality boards, these are definitely higher quality boards. Would buy again

Freenove makes a great board!

I have always had great luck ordering and using Freenove products, and I've ordered a ton of stuff from them over the years.

The ESP32 S3 CAM Board WIFI is a bit slow. I modded an antenna connector to the board and gained a stronger signal.

The board is fast enough to use the camera module and enough memory to post then to telegram. The previous board I ttied to do this with wouldnt work at all. Camrra clarity is good. If you buy this for the card alone its worthwhile.

The board came well packaged with nice accessories, which I appreciated. However, I ran into Wi-Fi problems when trying to use the Wi-Fi camera example. The connection is unreliable, the frame rate is very low, and it frequently disconnects. I’ve seen that other folks on the Internet have stumbled into similar issues. I don’t have these problems with a cheaper ESP-CAM board.

Seems to work okay for basic stuff like blinking the onbiard LED, but I could not get the camera to work. The downloaded tutorials are not really tutorials, but simple setup instructions. I finally got web server address to display, but only received a partial image one time. This board is very disappointing. I would not recommend this board.

They work, but I am now learning to use the ESP 32. Freenove software, is not for a beginner, nothing like Simon Monk who has a habit of going into detail. Excellent website.

Micro controlador PERRÓN, hay que hacer IoT, no le busquen más aqui esta la solución, puertos, velocidad, WiFi, Bluetooth, concurrencia, ... etc.

ラジコンカーにESP32S3CAM（カメラ：受信側）を取り付けて、その撮影画像をリモコン（送信器：ESP32S3）にWifi転送し映像を表示させることが可能かトライしました。QVGAサイズで10fpsくらいですが出来ました。これが限界のようです。ディスプレイはILI9341です。知識が無いため生成AIを使ってプログラミングしたのですが、なかなか良い結果が出ずに手こずりました。動画を転送するのではなくて静止画を高速転送すると指示したら良い結果が得られました。ESP32S3には、PSRAMが搭載されているので画像処理など面白い使い方が有ると思います。
