Philips Norelco S9000 Shaver Space-Grade Edition

This is a good razor with a very close shave. The light and app are a neat novelty but are unnecessary. Buy the 9500 and save some money. I have been using this new 9800 for a few months, it is a good razor but I miss the aesthetic feel of my old Norelco 8260XL. The cleaning station was better, a bit bigger but it did a better job with the jet-clean solution. I wish they still made the 8260XL with the new double blade heads. I can see some benefits in the re-design of the 9800 razor, the more geometric deign of the heads kinda follows the contours of my face, but their is space between the edge of the head and the round razor portion that you have to consider. I am learning to live with the new design, it gives a nice close shave, but I miss the more compact feeling of the 8260 XL

Bought this for my husband. He says it is the best shaver he has ever had. It glides across his skin and gives him a close shave. He is using the lighted ring around the the shaver to indicate if he is applying too much, not enough or just the right amount of pressure for the best shave. He feels like it really works for him. He appreciates the cleaning function, but most often he just rinses it under running water. He so recommends this shaver.

This thing is awesome. I have had a lot of electric shavers. None of them were as fast and easy to use as and it is really close to a traditional razor in terms of close shave. I highly recommend.

The product works great... to bad it didn't arrive in time for the gift giving day.... how the heck does shipping go from 3 day delivery to over a week.
