Good portable projector
Using the projector is straight forward but without many modern features. It has a regular HDMI connection. It has standard connection to wall outlet. The base can be removed which is a battery that charges whether you are using the projector or just have it connected. The wifi connection is only for screen mirroring but does not work with Google cast. There are no apps on this projector. You can use a USB drive for photos and movies but I have not tried that yet. It has keystone feature in the case the projector is placed higher or lower but you still have to physically center it horizontally. You need the remote to go through the in screen option. You can connect to the speaker on the projector or connect the audio from the projector to a Bluetooth device. The speaker is low quality. You would need to connect a better speaker through Bluetooth or the 3mm aux connection. You can change songs with the remote if you are using something like Spotify on your phone when connected to the projector. Projector light will turn off to conserve power if you are listening only to music on it. Overall, this would be a great portable projector to use outdoor or indoor. Not the best if you looking to stream but you can connect a compatible streaming device through HDMI.

Easy to set up
The media could not be loaded. The Tecaki Portable Outdoor projector is a 100% winner! Out of the box, the hardest thing to do was to wait until the battery was charged. Setup consisted of opening the box, connecting the projector to the magnetic base, and waiting. Of course, we didn’t wait and used it indoors immediately. I was able to add it to our home network and then do screen mirroring from my iPhone. The picture is impressively bright, even on just a white wall. I cannot wait to use it on a proper screen. If you want a direct connection, you can use the HDMI input or the USB input from a laptop or media player and you can skip the WiFi network completely. For ease of use I cannot recommend it more highly - it is intuitive and took less than 5 min from opening to use! The speakers are loud enough to hear but there is also an audio mini-jack if you want to connect to a larger speaker. The choice is yours. I cannot recommend this enough - it is easy to use, the performance is good, and the value is unmatched. This is a 5-star product!

Shocking battery life!
I put it to the test, playing a movie that was just over 2 hours and it lasted through the entire film and then some. I continued to let it play other things to really rest the battery with it finally conking out just short of 4 hours so you can conceivably get 2 movies in on a single charge, which is impressive for such a small item. The quality is a bit better than I expected. It's not 4K or anything but it's a tiny projector, more for travel, great for camping. it has a small throw area so you'll have to clear the middle area to allow it to project properly. It's easy to set up and operate.

Simple projector for simple expectations
This outdoor mini-projector has a lot to offer, especially for casual use. It's impressively small, lightweight, and rechargeable, making it easy to take just about anywhere. Setup was relatively simple, and most of the necessary hardware is included (although not everything—more on that later). The image quality is surprisingly crisp when projected about four feet away, and the internal speaker does a solid job if you’re not looking to connect external audio. However, a better external audio system, such as a Dolby surround sound system, would create a richer sound experience. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections were smooth with no real issues. One pleasant surprise: the HDMI projection feature works quite well. The stream quality aligns well with the sound, making it a solid choice if you use it primarily with HDMI devices. There are, however, a few drawbacks. When projected from farther distances, the image loses sharpness, and it doesn’t look great against standard white home walls—it's better suited for darker or purpose-built screens. Keystone correction is manual only, which isn’t a huge deal but worth mentioning if you're used to more automated setups. Another minor frustration: the remote control requires two AAA batteries, which aren’t provided. Again, it’s a minor thing, but it would have been nice if they included a shrink-wrapped battery pack as a nice courtesy to avoid a last-minute trip to the convenience store. The bigger letdown for me was the wireless mirroring from iOS devices. The projector doesn't appear as an option, even on the same Wi-Fi network. Wired mirroring is only partially proper—it projects static elements vertically, but it doesn’t display dynamic video or correct for horizontal viewing. This could be partly due to the older age of my smartphone, so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt here.Overall, it's a simple projector well-suited for basic projection needs. It doesn't quite live up to some of its own advertising hype, but for what it is, it works. I'm giving it four stars for now, although I may update my rating later if I discover additional features or any further issues arise.

Portable, Sharp, and Fun to Use
Very cool projector that’s rechargeable, so you don’t need to keep it plugged in while watching. I easily got through a 1 hour 45 minute movie with battery to spare! It connects over Wi-Fi and lets you cast straight from your phone, or you can use the HDMI slot with a streaming stick. The image is sharp and bright. Definitely best for after dark, but it works great. Super convenient and easy to use. Would recommend!

Overheating issues
All of the functionality works as advertised and the image quality is fine for a projector at this price point. The biggest problem is that the fan can't dissipate heat from the projector fast enough - causing it to shutdown. The only way to keep this from shutting down is to take an external fan and blast it on the unit while it is playing.
