After buying cheap flashlights at our local hardware store for years, I decided to buy these for our upcoming camping trip. They are AMAZING. The distance we could see into the woods on full brightness was AWESOME. Also comforting, if we thought we heard noises in the woods since we were in the heart of bear country. It was great to see further into the woods than we have been used to. We don't need all the functions on them, like the flashing, or the SOS signaling (I had to actually have a serious talk with my sons who were SOS signaling into the sky in the woods thinking it was funny). So if you buy these for kids, make sure you tell them not to use that feature! The adjustable brightess was great too, so my teens could turn down their flashlights on bathroom runs and not light up neighboring campsites. My only complaint is that these flashlights are black. They are hard to find and locate when camping and hard to find in a backpack. I wish they had some brighter colors. But I feel completely satisfied with the money spent on this purchase. They're great flashlights.

Great little light! Small enough to fit in a pocket, but the output is almost as bright as a flashlight three times its size. It gets used every night to do a security check around the property. I like it because I can still carry things, without putting down the light like you need to do with a full sized flashlight. The switch function is well thought out, since a firm click turns it on and another firm click turns it off. No cycling through all five functions, just to turn it off. Dimming functions and others are accessed by a soft press of the switch, after the first firm click to turn the beam on. Variable beam is width is great, allowing you to quickly go from a wide beam to spot light. The holster is well made, but not something I use, since the light fits if a pocket so easily. Battery life is comparable with the other three AAA cell LED flashlights I have owned. I'll probably buy more of these, if they stand up to a couple months of use.

It is a good bright light compared to a conventional bulb light. It is very bright and can almost be used as a tactical light.The problem when you turn it off, it comes back on in the next light sequence. For example, if you have it on bright when you turn it off, it is on medium when you turn it back on. I would love it to start off on Bright always and let me decide or even better turn on with the last mode it was in.

What you are getting here is pretty damn amazing for the price. To be clear, it is two identical flashlights for $12 - that's a deal. I feel like these are actually 800 lumens each (maybe? - I didn't cross check the CREE LED closely) - so someone is likely taking some "liberty" on the 1600 Lumens description but, the thing is very bright and on the focused beam it's amazing how far it will shine. It has a semi-visible beam just shining straight up in the sky! Good light and for the price if you get a year of use... it only set you back about 50 Cents a month!

These flash lights are amazingly bright but both broke on me within a month.

Very satisfied. It arrived on time and is very bright. Its small and fits into my pocket. I have already used it at my job which is maintenance for a resort complex. So far seems very durable as i have dropped it on a tile floor and no issues. The functions of it work fine. I would recommend this flashlight.

I'm really happy with these flashlights, they are super bright, lightweight and compact. Totally worth the money.

I keep several cheap LED flashlights around the house in case of power outage. I bought these two for when I take our dog outside at night because we're surrounded by woods and it's hard to keep track of her. I chose these lights because they were advertised as putting out 1600 Lumens, which would definitely light up the area. I don't know what their actual rating is, but it's certainly not that high. My cheap Walmart LED lights are almost as bright. But it seems to work okay so I guess my only beef is that I feel I was misinformed. The low cost doesn't make returning them worth the hassle.
