In reading this book, I got the impression that the author is very passionate and caring about his work. He also expressed his primary concern as being that of the patient. I am seriously considering FFS but, like most people, have concerns. I could only hope to find such a caring and knowledgeable physician in my area!I would recommend this book to others looking for this type of procedure.Jacqueline

This book is very informative, and clearly illustrated. It clearly outlines what can be expected with FFS. I do hope to have FFS one day.

excellent book that clearly explains the procedures available

As one of the lucky girls to go through FFS with Doc O, I have to say this is a very caring, dedicated man who has done so much for the TG community. When I was making my decision on a surgeon, it occurred to me, this is something I will have to live with the rest of my life, so I would much rather have the pioneer in FFS do my surgeries.This book is very thorough and helps you to determine which surgeries you want to have done.

The before and after photos in this book are the most stunning I have ever seen. For many of the transsexual patients in this book Dr. Ousterhout's surgery transforms them from someone who would not pass as a woman to someone whom you would never know was not born a natal female.
