Great set of tabs! Super easy to install, I hope it makes finding subjects at work faster, we’ll see. I installed them on the Large Print version (which I also recommend), and attached the guide to a piece of cardstock that was sized to the book. This way, I could seat the guide into the spine and flush up the top edge, and have a consistent space along the page edge to attach the tabs.

These index tabs are a great complement to the Machinery's Handbook. They make it much easier to quickly find important sections and reference information without having to search through the entire book.The tabs are well-organized, easy to apply, and save valuable time when using the handbook as a daily reference. They are especially helpful for engineers, machinists, students, or anyone who regularly uses the Machinery's Handbook.

Definitely handy, and they do peel easily when you bind two pages together. You will. Easy to recover from your goof.

Very helpful. Only problem is large print guide did not line up with center of book.

This is a 3000 page book and the tabs are very nice. Nice job with page numbers, made it pretty no-brainer to install.Hindsight is always sharper, and I don't think I should have used the tabs for subjects like 'real numbers' and 'geometry' - I could have skipped those. But, scissor will take care of them if I really want to get rid of em later. If you're gonna purchase the book, purchase the tabs.Gotta say, it was a nice exercise putting them in too - made you actually get familiar with all the subjects. Definitely essential to use the book well.
