## Description

Digital Infinite Repeat Cycle Timer Plug, 120V, 15A (2 Pack) | 24 Hour Daily On-Off Programs, Countdown, For Electrical Outlets, Lights, Hydroponic Pumps - desertcart.com

Review: Nice Backup Battery - When I received the timers, both had been charged and displayed the time. I did not have to plug it in to program it. The time is displayed in 24 hour format so there's no mistaking AM or PM. The buttons are fairly large, nicely labeled and well spaced so you don't accidentally hit 2 buttons at once. I immediately used one timer to replace a noisy, standard mechanical timer. The instructions are more visual than text with each step clearly illustrated. It was easy to program to the current hour once I realized I had failed to read the "hint" to hold down the "confirm" button until the time displayed blinked, making me feel really stupid. The timer is fairly large. It covers both outlets when plugged in. I easily programed it to turn the light on at 19:00 and off at 22:15. I plugged it into a three plug adapter, plugged the adapter into the wall outlet and the lamp into the timer. It worked perfectly that night. The next day I looked at the second timer I had left in the box. After 2 days of shipping and an additional day sitting in my house, the backup battery appears to have worked for at least 72 hours. That's a lot more than I expected. This timer is described on desertcart as being for indoor use only but there is no information in the instructions. I would not consider using it outdoors unless this was specifically stated.
Review: Great product, great price. Best timer I've ever bought! - Timers came with an excellent instruction manual and they are very easy to use. They are working perfectly for my hydroponic tower planters that have a pump in the base. They have a battery backup to keep the time, saving me the hassle if power goes out. So far so good!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it possible to adjust the timer to a 12-hour time display?**
A: This timer is only compatible with the 24-hour format, which is commonly called military time.

**Q: When storing the timer for a long time, do I have to take out or replace its battery?**
A: The timer comes with a built-in rechargeable battery, so battery replacement is unnecessary. To make the battery last longer, we advise fully charging it for 24 hours once each month.

**Q: The screen is showing nothing—does that mean the timer is defective?**
A: There is a rechargeable battery built into the timer. If the screen is blank, the most likely reason is a dead battery. Charging the timer for 2 hours or more will usually fix this problem.

**Q: The timer isn’t working like it was programmed to—could it be faulty?**
A: First check for wrong settings or compatibility with your device. Compatibility test (pre-purchase): Plug your appliance directly into a powered wall socket, turn it on (keep the switch "on"), unplug then replug. Auto-on = compatible; otherwise not.

**Q: Can I use the timer together with a power strip?**
A: Ensure the timer (1800W, 120V, 15A) isn’t overloaded. We recommend plugging the timer directly into a wall outlet, then your appliance to the timer. If you must use an extension cord, don’t overload it either.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use and reliable
*by J***S on September 25, 2023*

Easy to set up and change on the fly. I use it with a humidifier and another one with a fan in my mushroom fruiting tent. Worked well for me. The only thing I wish it has is a temporary on/off button independent of the programming to either to test or stop it but it's good enough for me.
