Comprehensive and colorful bio of Coldplay
This was a wonderful biography of Coldplay's journey from formation to present. Don't be put off by the "Independent and Unofficial" on the cover - this book is full of insider interviews, photos, quotes, and memories from one of the United Kingdom's biggest bands. I have seen Coldplay twice, on the Mylo Xyloto tour and the A Head Full of Dreams tour, and been listening to them since 2006. Debs and Malcolm provide a great survey of their albums and tours, and they also provide profiles on each band member. I did notice an error in this edition: the dates for Ghost Stories' release are incorrect; it looks like they were copied and pasted from Mylo Xyloto. Something to update for the next edition - perhaps after Coldplay release an 8th record...

It’s a book full of dreams
Great pictures and notes on the history of one of the greatest bands in the world. Debs was one of the original people who discovered Coldplay and this book provides lots of insight on how a group of college friends went on to become the band with one of the highest grossing tours ever and continue to still make great music over 20 years later.

This book is meant for your average Coldplay fan but I can tell you that even a normal person would find this to be an enjoyable read. It's well written, looks beautiful, has fantastic pictures, and tells a beautiful story! Strongly recommend this to everyone!

Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground with Debs Wild "Life in Technicolor" Book!
"Life in Technicolor: A Celebration of Coldplay" by Debs Wild & Malcolm Croft is the kind of book I've been hoping for would be written as a Coldplay fan of nearly 20 years. It's so exciting that it's their 20th anniversary and that we'll be getting a documentary along with this beautiful book. I pride myself on knowing much about Coldplay, but there is so much more that I didn't know. Like their holiday album "Mince Spies" and, admittedly, about the author Debs Wild. I was familiar with her in name only. I had no idea that she was with Coldplay since the start! And who better a person to write a book celebrating their 20 years together! I'm so happy Debs Wild and Malcolm Croft wrote this book with their unique perspective on my favorite band and I highly recommend everyone to check this out if you love Coldplay as much as I do (so much so that you may have 2 Chris Martin tattoos like I do.)

Everything
I am a huge fan of Coldplay and when I received this book I was not disappointed at all. The pictures are high quality and every page has a story. There are a few typos but when you're a fan, that doesn't matter much. A great gift for anyone who loves them.

While the book is "unauthorized" - in the sense the band don't want any involvement directly because they are too humble about their success - Life in Technicolour is a treasure trove of facts covering the length of Coldplay's career to the end of the A Headful of Dreams tour. Lots of photos and artwork, hardcover and professionally put together, its a must have for Coldplay fans. A bit too small for a coffee table book, but still thick enough to look lovely on your bookshelf and stand out with the coloured spine.
