I was very sceptical as to how the stand would work bearing in mind that occasionally I like most drivers are not perfect, taking the occasional roundabout too fast or cornering abruptly etc. Anyway the idea of this product is to allow you to sit your Sat Nav device on or near the dashboard without leaving any tell tale evidence that you have a sat nav in the vehicle, no tell tale rings on windscreen etc., I have used mine quite a lot since purchasing it and it holds the Tom Tom mount very securely on the padded mounting sat on the dashboard and doesnt move from wherever it is placed, only once has the Tom Tom mount come away from the mounting plate since I bought it and the suction attachment of the Tom Tom mount has in the past come off the windscreen many more times than this in the past. So I highly recommend this product I find it very easy to take your Sat Nav away from the dashboard and it leaves absolutely no tell tale marks on the screen. One thing that isn't mentioned in the instructions that come with it is the fact that the mounting pad has a paper backing on it's underside which has to be torn off first before use, please remove this before use or otherwise it will not stay on your dashboard, apart from this little oversight on the manufacturers instructions it is a superb productI hope this review helps you

I ordered this for our motorhome and we were away when it arrived and missed the send back cut off time as the central disc area was just a shade too small for our sat nav. I contacted Digi Charge direct to see if they could help me. A lady called Sharon Mosley rang me to discuss the problem and told me not to worry and if i could send mine back to them she would send me the slightly larger one in exchange at NO extra cost. It has just arrived and fits perfect and cannot thank Sharon enough as that is what customer service should be like! I wish i could give her more than 5 stars!!!!

Very useful it does what it says on the box and is very much cheaper than similar ones at Halfords.

Used this with my Garmin SatNav in both a Skoda Yeti and a Skoda Octavia and it stayed firmly in place.Previous experiences with this type of device have resulted in not holding the SatNav firmly in place but this one proved very effective.

My original windscreen suction mount ceased to work having been cooked in the sun but as I found suction is still needed for this item to work as intended. I ended up gluing the two together.

It looks ok but doesn’t stay on the dashboard. Heavy enough but the underneath is slippery so no chance of it staying on, in fact it slid off the dashboard when I changed direction. Waste of money.

It’s a bit of a tight fit for my Tom Tom Basic, but once assembled it stays put on the dashboard.

Whilst it may be OK for some satnav's with a small suction cup it does not fit the tom tom as stated as the suction area is too small a diameter
