Casio Men's W735H-2AVCF Super Illuminator Blue Watch

This watch is one of my best purchases on amazon. It works very well for me as an alarm in the morning. The face of the watch is very well laid out and easy to see and understand. The night illumination light is good. Programming the watch is easy and straightforward, and follows a logical manner. The little book it comes with is very clear with the instructions, and well written. As you are setting the watch up for the first time, face of the watch shows you what mode of programming you are in by highlighting one of those four modes you see there at the bottom of the face, whether you are in time set, stop watch set, or alarm set mode or whatever. The circular dial you see on the top right hand of the face tells you that you alarm is set and whether it is in vibration mode or not. The only downside to the watch is you can't program the alarm for specific days, once you set the alarm for, say, 6 am in the morning, it goes off at 6 am in the morning no matter what day it is. You could want to sleep in on Saturday morning and it will wake you unless you take the watch off before you go to bed. Casio has designed and made a very good watch with this one, and the price for it is very reasonable.

A perfect "essentials only" watch for me. I needed a watch with a vibrating alarm and still wanted a watch that looked good. Most of the vibrating alarm watches out there make you look like you were the guy that got your lunch money taken away from you everyday at school. When I say "essentials" I mean I only need a watch that tells the time and date, has a back-light, is water-proof enough for a pool or other casual water use, and has an alarm. I don't need a watch that tells me the time in fifty different time zones, can survive a fall from the top of the Empire State building, can go in water deep enough to visit the Titanic, is James Bond tested and approved, and can still microwave my pizzas for me.This watch has just what I need and is simple to use. The main reason I bought this watch, even though I own others, is that I needed a vibrating alarm feature. I have developed a severe hearing impairment and need something besides a blaring alarm to get me up so I don't disturb the rest of my family. This one does the trick for me.I have read some reviews from people that said the vibration was not enough to wake them. It is not an earthquake-level vibration, but by sliding the watch up my wrist to make it fit snugly before I go to bed, it gets me up every morning. I just wish it had a snooze feature. (OK, so much for the simple watch.)My only very minor issue is that right out of the package, this watch looked black. I was so sure I was sent the wrong color watch that I checked the style number twice. Outside in the sunshine you can see that this watch is an appealing navy blue. Under almost all other lighting conditions it appears to be black. Again, just a minor issue. So my rating may actually be 4.999.Also be aware that this watch is well-named as "Super Illuminator". The back-light is very bright - hence the name.I had a difficult time tracking down this kind of watch because the reviews I read did not address all of my issues very well. I tried to bring as much detail as possible to make it easier for someone else like me who is looking for an effective watch with few or none of the features I don't need. And no, I don't own stock in Casio.

Watch is clear and easy to read, durable so far, looks good, too. Note that the body and strap are very dark blue, the face is black and gold. In some of the photos the blue looks more black, and the face has some blue details.

Nice little Casio G-shock. Vibration. Simple to operate. Great value at this price.The 10 year battery life is rated this way...10 years under the following conditions:One 2 second light operation per dayOne alarm operation per dayI bought it mainly for the timer/alarm vibration function. (there's only 1 alarm and 1 timer).I use the timer quite a bit daily, so we'll see how long the battery lasts. If I think of it, I'll report that here some day if the battery dies. (solar option would be nice)Definitely a good little watch for the price. No regrets.

Color is not black it’s a really dark blue

This watch is great, a nice entry level watch for someone who thinks that they might be interested in upgrading to a proper G-Shock watch in the future. The LCD display is very clear in day time lighting situations and at night the "super illumination" is very good, nice and bright. The vibration is great, but I wish this watch also had a snooze alarm. Anyway, it's a great watch for the price.

Super useful. It is kind of chunky and cheap feeling, but the utility makes up for it. I've been using this for night time bicycle rides, and have the timer set up for vibration. It is very distinctive when it goes off- buzzing on my wrist and telling me it is time to turn around. The vibration isn't quite enough to wake me from sleep in the mornings, but great for notifying timer ends, in a quiet way.The display is quite crisp, I'm able to read it in quartering moonlight, when my eyes are night adapted. The super-illuminator light consists of two white LEDs shining in from the display sides, and is extremely bright, enough to serve as a small flash light, when the eyes are night adapted.Other features are pretty standard, stopwatch, timer, and a 2nd time zone. It has only a single alarm however, which is a bit of a letdown- but the price is low, coming as entry level. Casio's G-shock GD350 is the higher tier vibration alarm watch.

I got this watch because I was looking for a vibration alarm that I could wear and it was one of the only ones I found. All its features work well, but it is a LARGE watch. I am a woman so my hands and wrists are smaller, but one of its side buttons has actually rubbed my skin raw a couple of times. The manual is understandable and it's easy to set up the watch the way you want it.

I've had this for easily over 6 months already and still looks brand new. The dark blue colour is cool and the vibration alarm is uniquely applicable for daily use. The light is also perfect for late night use. Only minor problem is that dust will eventually build up along the band, an issue I encountered with G-Shocks as well. Fits well on a small-medium sized wrist.

Have had it for 2 weeks, been wearing it alot except during sleep. It still looks great on medium to small wrist. The dark blue color plus matte finish looks unique/cool and the function that led me buying this watch is the silent hourly signal, and while it may not be strong enough to wake someone in deep sleep, it serves perfectly for my purpose to just silently remind me the passing of each hour during the day. Setting is easy enough after consulting the manual the first time.

Perfectly for casual wear! Light weight, good material (couldn't compare to G-Shock), and looks great on wrist.

Terrific back lighting and easy to use functions.

A bit bulky but the light works well
