Buy a name brand
It doesn't work and I tested all my mics with the old cable to make sure. It most likely is wired wrong, like seems to be the case when cables don't work. The packaging was in good shape, so I think it wasn't damaged in shipping. It looks like decent quality and not chintzy looking at all. I was excited about trying my expensive mics on a better cable. I could kick myself for buying an off brand trying to save money. I order things delivered because I'm disabled and it's hard to regular shop. When we get junk like this we're expected to get in our cars and take it to the shipping center for return. I could have just gone and bought a cable if I wanted to drive. The only option is return as you're not allowed to talk to the seller. That's shady, so "No Communication" is a factor to consider. No value in losing 2 meals worth of money. Seriously, don't buy things with unknown names.

Worked like a charm and it came with a 6.35 mm (1/4") to 3.5 mm (1/8") adapter, so connecting my laptop to my Alesis audio mixer was simple. Audio quality was excellent. It appears to be built to last. Highly recommended.

The cable has a deformed sound. When listening to music, the vocals are very distant-near silent. Weirdly, it isn't deformed when the TRS end is half removed. I'm going to throw it out or return it.
