I buy it upon recommendation of a friend. I guess if you are not a mother makes purée, then it can be a good tool!The life of this pre-spoon is very short for a mother who goes for baby led weaning (BLW).Overall, it is still good.

A little pricey but it's useful for babies starting to BLW from 5 or 6 months onwards. A good training spoon! It's flat and grooved surface will catch the thick liquid just fine. After a few months you won't use it though, cos it'll be better to progress to a spoon with a curved surface and load more.

Got this for my first son. It was good. I was trying to start solids with my second son without these. Trying to be more minimal and laid back with my baby purchases. Anyway, he would grab the spoon (normal stainless steel spoon) in his mouth but have trouble getting what was at the top of it. He would lick but only lick the bottom and get nothing. With these spoons it’s easier for him to feed himself and can get the food from the bottom and top of the spoon! Great purchase and must-have when starting solids!

Highly recommended!I feel these were one of the best purchases we made when my baby started eating. He is now 16 months old and already eats very independently, and I truly believe it all began with giving him the freedom to explore food using spoons that were so gentle and easy to handle.With heat and contact with food, the blue spoon has turned slightly green over time, but this did not bother me at all.
